RMS vs. Mean

Just got my Zmax in and would like some ideas on which is better: RMS or Mean on a Protank with a 2.5 ohm coil. I've been using it on 9 to 9.5 watts, because it seems like I get a burnt taste with anything higher. I can pump it up with a dual coil carto to whatever I want and it's great, but the 2.5 Protank seems to burn really easily.
Thanks in advance for tips.

Stick with RMS, it is much more accurate.

edit: check out eHuman's post on this thread if you want to know more about RMS vs. MEAN.

The Protank issue sounds like you may have too much wick. Try blowing into it lightly to see if any bubbles appear, then try vaping again. If that works, you may want to remove just a little bit of the wick. Pop the top off the coil assembly and you will see a strand of wick laying on top of the coil. Try removing that, but hold on to it in case you want to put it back. The only reason to put it back would be gurgling or leakage.
