Kanger Aerotank Issues?

Hey guys, so I really like my Aerotank 2, and would prefer to keep using it. However, I have had some issues with the tank itself. First off, I have it paired with an eleaf iStick battery, which apparently doesn't pair very well. I just put a new coil in yesterday, and it just now started giving me a burnt taste. I'm vaping at 3 volts and about 4.7 watts, which is the lowest I can get the battery to go, and I have a 1.8 ohm head on it. Every second or third puff it will give me a burnt taste, and I will have to wait a few minutes before I can get a regular puff on it. The tank and battery I both love, but people have told me the kanger tanks don't pair well with the iStick, is this true? I have to always keep my voltage down at 3 volts because it seems like the battery puts out more power than it says on the screen. Using the same tank, I vape on my visoin spinner at 3.8 volts and it works just fine, but the same voltage on the iStick gives me a burnt taste immediately. I'm very disappointed, and this is my first "box mod" battery, if you could call it that. I've gotten very discouraged because of this and I don't want to go back to using regular EGO threaded batteries because they don't have great battery life. If anybody could help me out, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

OKC, OK
I use the aero v1 on the istick 20. Have not used the stock coils in quiet a while now, but the 1.8's might be a little low ohms for the istick, maybe? I don't really know, I use the single coils in mine and use mostly ones I have recoiled. I usually stay in the 1.8 to 2.2 range with no problems using these. 6.5 to maybe 8.5 watts, just adjust until I like it. I have gone lower and higher just to see how it worked.
