Most of my thoughts on the BVC coils in terms of safety and sanity are here for you to make up your own mind:

Those aside, the Kanger OCC coils are considered the clear winner in terms of flavor, rebuildability, safety and "vape per watt" -- which is a metric I just made up but is used in the tech world. e.g., the stock OCC will output more vapor per given watt than the BVC.

It does top out ~5-7 watts or so before the BVC, so at ~35-45w the BVC will output more vapor, if less flavor. Coil longevity seems to be in favor of the OCC coils too due to the design/experiences, assuming someone hasn't inadvertently burned away the cotton on the BVC coils. The OCC coils are also ~15-20% cheaper so far.

Basically, as of right now, about the only metric the Atlantis holds its own is vapor volume (not flavor) at higher wattages, and if someone prefers it, they're a cooler vape than the stock OCC coils (though that can be worked around).

Theres a new tank out there that's getting rave reviews. Havent tried it yet but I read a number of reviews and they all pretty much favor this over Kangar and Aspire. It even has adjustable flow control on the coil for juice flow. Hmmm interesting. Joytech Delta 2. I'm going to get one. It has organic cotton coils also. I do believe there are posts on here about it. If you read the actual customer reviews on different websites it's been nothing but 4 and 5 stars.
