I have been building both Rta's and Rda's for a few months now but i just can not rebuild those kanger coils...I still use a few aerotanks and a aerotank mega, the price of buying the coils is kind of outweighing the ease of use as of late. If i remember correctly someone in the NT family is a pro at rebuilding these but i can not remember who?! I would glad ship whoever this pro is a bag of cleaned but rather burnt out coils to be rebuilt. If this elusive person steps forward just let me know the cost or what you would want in trade?!

I need those tips and tricks :) got my jewelry wire gizmo, kanthal, rayon and hands free magnifier ready :)

All righty then here goes...

Chimney off and head removed from base:

Old wick removed (tweezers are great for this):

Dry burn after the wick is removed:

Squeezing the coil after dry burning to make sure the coil wraps are all touching:

Amount of cotton I pull off to make a coil:

Twisting one end to feed through the coil:

Trimmed twisted end to make it easier to thread:

Through the coil:

Pull till you feel a bit of resistance:

Trim both ends:

Put back the chimney, twist it into the base and wet down the wick:

Ready to go!!
