I saw this on FT today and considering getting one. Anyone seen it yet? I love my nebox, as unpopular as that opinion may be. I used to love dropping but found to many inconveniences with it. Any other squonks that you guys may recommend?

I'm a squonker exclusively. Up until fairly recently, squonkers have been a niche market. Lately, squonkers have made some inroads toward becoming more mainstream.
Of course, the granddaddy of them all is the Reo, from Reosmods.com. Obviously a bit pricier than the Kanger will be. However, there is an advantage of great customer support, American made, and readily available extra and spare parts and accessories.
Reos are all I use. I currently have 12 of them.

I just put one on pre order this morning. I've been wanting to try a REO, but way out of my budget. So this will let me try one for fairly cheap.
I saw that today too; seems to be vw; so far; hard to imagine they'd make a mod that isn't temperature controlled nowadays.
I don't know about it being VW. I've looked at quite a few pics of it and see no display or setting buttons. So I "think" it's a pass-through device, not a mech. It has a charging port...so I don't know.

Not really that strange. Lots of squonk aficionados prefer unregulated mods.
I use Reos exclusively, and none are regulated.
Reo's latest offering, the P67, released just last week, is a mechanical.
For each of the squonkers out there using unregulated mods, there's probably 10 or 1000 more who would be squonkers if there were more choice in regulated squonkers and toppers for them.
Squonker interest me and the Dropbox is as close as any so far.

What I still Require are simple to exchange spare bottles for easy flavor changes.
This not only means simple in/out replacement, but readily available replacements WITH Top Caps for storing unused e-liquids.

Could be. I don't know. At this point, there are a few regulated squonkers around, but most are at a pretty high price point, and being offered by 'boutique' type mod makers; particularly the Italians.
As for atomizers, there are a few being offered now with bottom feed pins. But some of the best ones are those being modified and sold by aftermarket modders, such as Catfish Atty Mods, who is a supplier on ECF.
Several Bottom feed 22mm atty's available now, including certain Velocity makes.

I would understand it being just to tighten the battery door...if they didn't turn it almost at the end...don't know if it means anything, and I haven't seen any suggestion of VW/VV mode in anything I've read yet. But curious.

I think they're still deciding what features to put.
They'll probably put something out then make it obsolete within a month with an improved version.

Well that's a bummer. I'm interested in that steamcrave squonker though. I have a brand new reo that collects dust because I want more power. Still have several bf attys I would love to use, like the Nuppin.

Finally, a big brand like kanger puts out a squonk box, and it's not even vv... much less vw or vt.
Kudos to steamcrave for doing it right the first time.
But hey, maybe by next month we'll see the kanger squonkTC
