So..... I've been dreaming of a regulated squonker forever and seems like this functions decently?

A good chip that supports TC would've been great, but TBH if it is able to accurately detect a normal build, and output a fairly accurate wattage, I would be happy. Love my reos and CC, but some days I just want to not worry about voltage drop, or have the ability to switch around the wattage on the fly.

I was in a similar spot. the only other newer regulated I found that measured up was the lost vape squonker. But it is like 3 times the cost and only has a 900 lipo batt . So no swappable 18650. There are other cheap ones but overall I'm very pleased with my ss dripbox. Not a fan of the included rda at all. Been using it in power mode and no real issues. However so far it it reading the resistance lower than my other mods. My .14 ss build on my rx is .1 on here etc.....

Yeah, mine reads my builds .2 lower than they are on any other device. At first, that really bothered me, but now that I know it's a known flaw, I just crank it up. For the price, I like it!

Anyone notice leaking from these? I have two and both have recently started to gather liquid around the magnetic door that holds the bottle. Strangely, the bottles seem otherwise dry while the liquid pools at the seem between the body and the magnetic door. I'm running different attys on each and they are both dry except for the small amount of juice gathered in that one spot.

Yes mine does and I believe it happens when you slide the bottle out the plunger has some excess that leaks to the bottom.

When I First started to use my 60W DripBox, I would get a Little e-Liquid on the magnet side of the Bottle Door.

Not so much of a Leak. More of a Seep. LOL.

But after awhile it seems to have gone Away. So Maybe I am more careful of wiping things off? Or maybe the Seal/Bottle Neck has gotten Broken In?

Mine hasn't been leaking. I noticed the white plastic piece wants to come off with the bottle when I remove it.
Does anyone know if the threads on the bottle actually screw into anything or can you just pull the bottle off and push it back on when filling?

I have that issue on one of mine but not on the other. It’s not the atty, since I’ve taken the same atty from the leaky one and put it on the non-leaky one and it stays non-leaky.

I think it’s the fit of the plastic plunger in the bottle neck due to a variance in the plunger and/or the bottle. It could be off enough to allow a wee amount of juice to come out when squonking. I need to swap bottles out between the two to see if I can make the non-leaker start to leak with a different bottle.

I’ve been calling it a “leak” but it’s really more of a “seep.” Just a bit of juice collecting right around where the magnets are on the bottom cap. A quick swipe with a towel when I refill and all’s good.

Are any of you using temp control with your BF RDA's? I see a lot talking about SS builds,but not much, if any talk about using temp control with them?

I just received my 160 a few minutes ago. I put my Velocity Mini on it with a 0.20 SS build in it and it is producing great vapor/flavor. I set the temp at 450 degrees F. Nice smooth vapor!

After trying the supplied RDA with the 160,I rebuilt the RDA with 26ga.SS! The supplied Clapton coil,constantly spit and cracked hot juice everywhere.I used 7 wraps on a 3mm rod. It reads 0.28 and vapes well. With a different build in the RDA,it isn't quite as bad,infact it is about 100% better,than it is out of the box. It's a good RDA,not great,but good!

I have to agree I just put it aside when I 1st got it and never gave it another thought till I was cleaning up my vape room and decided to throw a ss Clapton in and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised , very good vape for a cheap atty.

I have to say I am loving the DB160! Just put this build in my Tobeco Velocity V2, parallel 32 gauge vertabraid and 26/32 Clapton.
