It does look nice though. I'm so sorry to hear about the problems and hopefully get it fixed. Please keep us posted!
Thanks for the wrap info.

Update on my return status: I filed a return request Friday night through their website. Knowing they are closed on the weekends, I followed up with phone calls yesterday. No one answers the phone, it's just a recording. So, I sent an email too.

So far, no word from them.

Got a new toy for the Dripbox – a Vortice clone. I recall when the original came out I was interested in it, but never picked one up. Figured dropping $7 on the clone was worth the risk.

While it won’t put out clouds, the flavor on this is really quite good. It’s not tough to build, but the small deck puts a real crimp in any plans for fancy builds.

The squonk pin is standard; a regular pin is not included. It has a short 510 and just barely makes contact with the Dripbox – I have to really crank it down for a connection.

Sorry for the poor quality photo – best I can do at present.

Picked up a second Dripbox 160 - a white one to go along with my black one. Probably should not have, but happened to see one on ecig.com for $47.50 and I had a coupon that brought it to $42.39. Just could not resist.

Didn’t want it to get lonely in its long postal journey so added in a Tsunami 24 to keep it company. And a 2-pack of HE4s.

Now comes the tough part: coming up with a good story to tell the spouse about why I bought another one.

You won it but had to pay $90 for shipping...

Am I the only one gushing over this device? I absolutely love this thing! I am running a Tsunami with dual claptons, .36 ohms, and 40 watts. I have never had this good of a vape and for under $50 I just feel a need to comment.

I guess where I am going with this is that I have never understood the $250+ squonker market. There are some awesome devices out there with SX and DNA chips but I do not own one so I cannot compare.

Will someone who has tried both be willing to explain to me what I am missing here? I am trying to understand what is still driving the market for custom regulated squonkers. Also I am trying to find justification to purchase one that I have been eyeing for a long time and saving for.

Thanks in advance!

30 and 40 watt squonk boxes have always been tough to find, and expensive once you do. That looks to be changing all of a sudden.

I don't mind paying top $ for a quality custom box, but I'll be getting one of these too.

That's what I have on my dB 160 and it performs perfectly you will be very happy huge build deck. When wicking the tsunami to help keep from over squonking tuck the tails in front of the air tubes.

Thanks for the tip. I've heard nothing but good things about the Tsunami and am looking forward to trying it out.

I also mailed in my Marquis today to get it modified for BF. Looking forward to that as well.

Update:

Vapor Beast made it right and sent me a new SS replacement and even paid for the return shipping! I got it just in time for my bday and it works perfectly!

I wanted to thank you for the heads up on this issue. I received my silver one yesterday and it was very rough inside at the vent holes, I used a flat screwdriver to smooth it out. Working great

I have the black one, really would have liked to get the silver, but as they drop in price and get more availabe I might pick one up, Also have the first DB in Red, my Question is were to get replacement bottles? I see you can order direct From Kangertech for .90 each but shipping is like 18 bucks. the only other place I found was out of stock. Anybody know were to get them in the states with cheaper shipping?

I have been running the Tobecco velocitys and the Tsunami's both sizes with squonk pins and the Aromamizer Rda, out them all I think I like the bigger Tsunami the best, I bet that Marquis is killing it for flavor, I will have to check out Avid . I went with those because they either come with a 510 or you can get the ones that fit.

OK, I'm stuck between the dripbox and disguiser for my next purchase. Really stuck. I squinted years ago, like 5 years ago, and I miss it. But I still love tanks, and the disguiser conversion kit is available. Now it all comes down to size. I want to carry it on my hip at work, so the thinner one will prevail. The disguiser is 61x45x81mm. But the sizing makes no sense to me on the dripbox. It's listed as 24mm x 84mm x 56mm. How can it be 24mm wide with 2 18650s side by side? No internet help here, need vape help! Thanks for listening everyone!
