I absolutely love my evod. It was my first tank and it honestly preformes better than any other tank I have, in my opinion. This whole dual coil craze has me in a bind. While I like my protank 3 I feel as if there is a major difference in the two. The dual could I feel like pick up on the more crisp notes of favors while the single coils pick up more of the overpowering flavors. For instance the same liquid in he to differ heads taste different. I pick up more citrus in the dual coil and more of the overpowering notes in the single coil. But for me I will never let my single coil evod go. I just know and love it too much to lever let it die. If I want dual coil I'll go with the bdc vivi nova or the protank 3

I work at a vape shop in Dahlonega. We are the only ones with this tank. Kanger is using us as a test bed for them. They come with a 1.5 dual coil and they have a throat hit like a dripper. Our sale price is 11$ and we'll worth it. It is very similar to the original evod tank, but they do hit harder and have a hotter vape. More like a real cig.

I recently bought an Evod 2 from MVP and I recommend staying away from this model. It uses the dual coil head (same as the Aerotank). The dual coils produce a better vape than the single coil in the original Evod, but the problem is the plastic tank which can't handle the heat of the dual coils and cracked after 2 days of light use. IMO, It's a faulty design. Granted, I was using a sweetened juice 50/50 vg/pg, but I have four original Evods that I've been using for months with the same juice and none of them has cracked, presumably because of the lower heat generated. Not sure if I should continue using it...the cracks are visible through the slots in the aluminum exterior, but so far they are hairline cracks and it's not leaking (yet). The tank also looks cloudy.

There is a new "Evod Glass 2", which looks promising, though it's quite long - about the same height of the Mini Protank 2. I like the shorter length of the Evod 1, which holds the same amount of juice as the Mini PT2 but is more compact.

(btw, the tank is sitting low because the atomizer was removed when taking the pic)
