Thanks for the info. I'm just looking for the elusive leak free solution without resorting to carto's

I found that the Evods leak a lot. Mine worked good for a while but once it started leaking I couldn't get it to stop. Tried changing coils but that only worked for a short time and leaked again.

I've used the Evods since they came out and I love them. I haven't had any leaks at all. You have to make sure that the coil head is screwed tightly on the bottom. It can loosened up when you open it for refilling or while cleaning it. This could be a source of the leaking.

I also like that you don't have to replace the entire bottom unit, only the coil heads which come 5 in a pack, making them much cheaper to replace.

It would be great if SI would consider carrying these. Right now I just use them on my "other" devices.

Mine worked great until I changed the wick. That is when it started leaking. I checked to make sure it was tight. In the end I prefer the T3 for the size over the evod.

I agree about the size of the T3 tank and I like the fact that it’s clear, but the Evod coil seems to be working better for me so far. I’ve been using an Evod coil exclusively for four weeks now with no tweaking to its wicks or dry burning whatsoever. The last three weeks, I’ve been using a T3 tank with my Evod coil, so that I can see my juice level easier.

Can I use this on my X2? It's ego threaded.

The only way to use an Evod on SI's X2 is with an 808/ego adapter. This is my chrome X2 using said adapter with chrome Evod, also using a straight cone to hide the threading.

i have ordered 3 evods and 2 packs of replacement coils, got to go to the neighbors across rd. and get them tomorrow.

i asked stormy if they would work on a T3 and she said no.

i found a discussion on them on the ECF and they say there is a gap on them which may cause them to leak.

i'll find out in morning when i get them from across the road.
the snow is to deep to go get them in the dark, plus the boogie man might get me.LOL;)

Evod coils don't fit perfectly on the T3 tank, but they work great. I've been using an Evod/T3 combination for over a month without any major leakage. I get a little bit of juice on the battery, but I've got that with every clearomizer I've used.

BTW: Is it just my imagination, or has it been really quiet on this subforum lately?

No... not your imagination. I've noticed the same thing.
