eGo clearomizers that work with the X2 battery????

madvapes and Smoktec both carry an ego/808 version of the vision stardust. The both also have the 808-510 adapters so that a 510 clearo will work on a volt battery

Homeprogreen, is this the exact model you are referring to above?: Vision V2 eGo Clearomizer
If not, can you provide me with a link to the ones that you are referring to.

I use the Vision ego/808 on my x2 & spinner battery's. I have used the ones that SI sells but you can't just replace the coil on the SI one. I haven't had a problem with the Vision one on my battery's

Does the Vision Stardust model's collar fit all the way down over and cover the X2's Ego style threading, and sit flush just above the button switch....exactly like SI's X2 Clearo does?

Thanks in advance,
Cosmic

I think if you use an adapter to use the 510 vision stardust it won't sit flush and the outer threading will be exposed as the adapter will add some height to the vision stardust. I might be wrong so if someone has any experience with this please chime in and a picture if possible

Of course you are correct. I just wasn't aware that the clearo in the link I provided, has the 510 connection on it, but after careful reexamination of a picture of it on the site, I see that it is a 510 and not the 808 style.

The link I posted is for 808 thread so no adapter is needed. These are the same ones I use on my x2's and spinners

Yes, thanks ProGreen, I just wish that they carried different colors in addition to the standard clear and black ones.

Any idea if they actually do make them in colors other than clear or black?

Do those seem to work really well for you?

These appear to be the same thing but I can't confirm that they are. Might be worth contacting them to see if they will work. Different colors and different resistances available.

Vision EgO Clear-o-mizer

Vision EgO Low Resistance Clear-o-mizer

Then you have these which have replaceable heads.

Vision EgO V3 Clear-o-mizer

Again I highly suggest contacting them to make sure they will fit. Remember not all ego feeders will work on the X2 and Spinner batteries.

Thanks,...I surely do appreciate the effort to round up some of the colored clearos for me Garemlin.

To be sure, I have messaged their customer support regarding the connector style on all those you listed, but as far as I have come to learn over the past few days, the inner threading (not the larger/outer eGo style threading) on the standard eGo batts is a 510 connector as opposed to our X2's/Spinner's 808 connector. Basically the Volt (808D) batt connectors are male connectors as opposed to the 510 batts which have female connectors.

If I am wrong though, somebody please correct me.

From the Smoktek website that HomeProGreen pointed to earlier, there are these that are for the 808-eGo batts so they should be a direct fit for the X2's and Spinners; however, they aren't rebuildable: Vision 808-eGo/vGo Transparent Clearomizer V2, 2.1-2.4 Ohm

edit: scratch that,....they are out of stock on those Vision 808-eGo/vGo Clearos.

I haven't yet tried the evod but have a couple on order.

......

IMHO, the x2 is better than the joyetech ego battery and the spinner is better than the ego twist.

1.) Did you ever get those EVODs and try them yet? If so, how do they fit/work?

2.) Just curious, how are the SI Spinners better/different than an eGo Twist?

A customer service rep got back to me and said all those are 510 only.

Thanks all the same though.

I prefer the spinner over the twist. The ego twist is hard to read on the bottom. There is a small dot on the battery and the voltages are etched into the spinning part. They also take a lot longer to charge.

On the spinner, the line is on the spinner part an is red with markings on the battery itself. The only one that is hard to read is the rainbow battery.

Unless the paint starts to get scratched off, then you can't read it at all! My blue spinner paint started coming off again...after I had a RMA for paint issues, so I got mad and scratched all of them off lol

I have that issue with my blue spinner as well as an ego twist.

The nice thing about the spinner is that since the red line is on the spinner part, it's pretty easy to know what voltage you are set at without seeing the numbers. The activation button is at 3,3v, then 1/4 the way around is 3.8v. Hallway around is 4,3v and 3/4 the way around is 4.8v

Thanks! I did not know that!! After I read your post I looked at my SS spinner and you are spot on!! :D

I see...my blue 1300 spinner is starting to get little peel cracks under the button...purple one is fine...I have the rainbow...which is very hard to read...I was worried ...also the #s would fade...but thanks mr outlaw...I don't have to worry..your turning ideas make purrfect!!! sense;)

Yes, I tried it, but I like the t3 better. It doesn't hold as much as a t3 and I hate that I can't see how much juice is left. I didn't notice a big difference in vapor either

So the evod will work on an x2/spinner? I read that it didn't. I wanted to try it though so I ordered it and an evod battery(510/ego threads) from another vendor.

I looooove the evod. It's what I hoped the t3 would be. Leak free, good vapor, replaceable heads, and holds enough liquid to get me through a work day or night out. Due to my x2 clearos and t3's leaking if I let them get below 2mls, my volt spinner had been sitting around unused. If that evod fits it'll have a shot at getting back in the rotation.

You have to use a 808/ego adapter in order to use an Evod on the X2 or SI spinner. It works but adds extra length to the setup.

Is that different from an 808/510 adapter? I would like to try some of the new tech that's ego or 510 but I just got a Volt Spinner. I just don't want to switch over completely until my SI batteries die. If I need to I'll get both adapters.
