Kanger mini protank 2 issue or ego-v v2

I have been using my ego-v v2 ever since last october and has been working good.Had been using a kanger mini protank 2 for about 3 months and changing the heads every 2 weeks.I started noticing that once i take a drag off it,most of the time i have to hit the button 5 times to turn it back on.Battery is fully charged most of the time and take like a 3 second hit from it.So just wondering does that sound like a head,tank or a problem with the v2? The tank is name brand and the head was the last one that came with the package.thanks

Have anything else you can put on the battery to test it? You could have a head with a short(usually they blink when there is a short though).

Not at the moment unfortunately.It works just a pain to have to hit it 5 times to turn it back on everytime i use it.I was hoping this model offered some type of firmware upgrade since it has usb but couldnt find anything like that.

No other cartomizers at all? Always have a backup is a lesson you have now learned.

Yeah.lol.I still havent learned yet amazingly after using it since october.So my guess its probably not gonna last much longer.What could you recommend similar to the itaste SVD? Sounds like a good mod except for the button issue.

Form factor preference, time you vape between charges, etc etc all play into what you should do. Lots of great info all over this site. I have been doing this for five years so have a few ProVaris and such. Figured I'm in for the long haul so have invested accordingly. Your budget and needs are what should guide you.

Ive had my svd for about 6 months and it still works great, the pt2 minis aren't bad but for some reason my evod clones vape better on the stock heads I have. Most mods have some sort of issue but vamos or svds are good cheaper apvs, the smoktech SID is another really solid mod. I prefer mechs now myself but keep my svd in rotation.

The svd has looked like a good mod,coming from my ego-v2.Im fairly new to these but am slowly starting to learn.Just want something reliable and the mechanical mods are looking like a good option as well.I will check out the other things you posted and thank both of you for the help.
