Kanger MT3 Remove a wick?

Hi All,

I have heard that removing one of the wicks on the MT3 will reduce the burnt taste hits that i get sometimes? Is this true, and if so, do you just pull one of the wicks and it comes out?

Ive been using the MT3 for 2 days now and was fine the first day .. I now get some burnt hits, but there is plenty of liquid. Im using the EGO Twist at around 3.7-4.0 Volts.

the coil has 2 extra wicks that are not tied to the coil, just if you get dry hits you remove one (removing the two can cause gurgling and leaking).

Thats the first thing I do when I install a new coil, regardless of pg/vg ratio, vapes like a champ.

2 gave me dry hit and 1 gave me gurglind.
so i took both away and replace with a T2 floating wick.
perfect
