The more I read about LiPo batts the more I think I want to steer clear, given that these days they also seem to be inside many of the "cheaper" devices. Not sure I want to trust a cheapo regulated mod to protect me from a LiPo battery malfunction. That's just me. Yes they are used in so many other consumer electronic devices but most of those are not close to my face "most of the time".
There is another very arguable reason for avoiding Internal Battery mods.
Safety first- yes
Mod life - second
A battery may see its full life span and then some. I have a few impressive 18650's
A battery may just as easily fail for no apparent reason.
Dead/failing Internal design = Replacement Mod and angry customer - even though the battery is the only issue.
Replaceable Battery is a simple replace/recycle and keep enjoying your favorite - Now unavailable - Mod
