Kanger Pro Tank 2. Popping???

So enjoying my new tank now that the leak issue is fixed.
My question here is what's the popping about sometimes it happens when taking a drag off it. It's the popping noise I hear when I did a dry burn as well. But why is it still doing it now? New to using tanks so just trying to figure all this out.

that is actually normal with a clean coil ,once it gets broke in that popping goes away

high VG pops alot more then pg

More than likely it's nothing to worry about - probably just juice exploding off of the coil. With something like a carto, there's a whole lot of popping going on all the time (it sounds almost like a rattlesnake).

Check to make sure there isn't extreme heat coming from the unit (a tell that you need to adjust or replace something in the power circuit - switch, battery, tank, coil).

Thanks you guys. I do prefer only PG so maybe that's why it's just a couple pops here an there. It is a new coil just switched it yesterday morning. Due too a faulty coil being brand new Kager tank I was a bit upset with it leaking the way it did. But switched coils an no more leaks.

Sherry2626 i have been using protanks for a while and they seem to be hit or miss with the leaking. some do some do not. if you take the head out and remove the gasket, look between the stem and the wick if there is a gap there you might need to add some wick material to fill it. and i have found my heads tend to leak after about a month of vaping on them. at that point its time for a new wick even if the flavor is still good.

I find my protanks pop some times as well, especially the minis. When they do I swear I get a little electric shock on the tip of my tongue. It could be my imagination but it's happened often enough that I think there's something to it. It's hard to tell, because it's so minor, but there is definitely something popping into my tongue when my mini goes pop.

thats odd. my father in law uses a pt mini and hasnt had any issues. i have a pt2 and 3 pt3's and havent had any issues other than old heads leaking, but thats how i know its time to change them.
