Alrighty folks, I checked out the tutorial on lightningvapes.com and purchased some 34 ga AWG A1 kanthal wire and 2mm Ekowool braided hollow silica wick. After following the tutorial to a T I've narrowed the bad taste down to burning the grommet on my negative lead. I reached out to the website and they recommended using a non-resistant wire as the legs of the coil. Any suggestions on how I'm supposed to attach the nickel wire to the kanthal wire? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide!
