Kanger ProTank 3 Base is stuck!

Hey everyone, I'm back again asking for help. vaping for me has been going great, can't say the same for my brother who we think got a defective Vamo from fasttech, and I was about to finish the last couple of drops of juice I have left before I get Alice In Vapeland's sampler in, when the unthinkable happened. The bottom part that holds the head is completely STUCK. Like, I've rubbed my fingers raw trying to get the darn thing to unscrew. See, this had previously happened to my brother's pro tank 3 as well. For some reason, it got dead stuck on it.I'm thinking it's something with his mod because his tank also leaks, doesn't vape well at all, feels clogged, etc etc etc. So to establish if it was his tank that was the problem or the Mod itself, I screwed in my tank, which up to that point was working flawlessly, onto the Junky Vamo and what do you know, my tank started developing the same symptoms. I quickly took it off and returned it to mine and for awhile everything was great, but now the darn thing is stuck tight on there. I'm very conscious as to over tightening so I doubt it's that. I just can't figure out why it would be stuck, and if it has any relation to the bad mod. I've tried all the tricks in the book. Putting it in the freezer to make things contract and hopefully loosen it, and soaked it in hot water in case juice leaked and sealed the threads shut with stickiness, and nothing. I'd REALLY like to salvage this tank if I can, cus it's kinda the only one I have :( any one have any idea on how to help me out?

Do you have any rubber kitchen gloves? I keep some of that stuff for removing jar lids in my kit but the rubber gloves should do the trick. If and when you get that base off, don't tighten them real tight when you assemble them, just to the point where you feel a good resistance. Good luck!!
