Today, found out my Protank BCC Cracked after 2 weeks of vaping. Either i was firing too often or tightening too hard. Based on my finding is more towards of firing too frequent and too long.. the stress on the aluminium contact can't take it.

Lucky got a spare 1.8 ohm but now need to look for spare parts. Vapebrothers site is out of stock. Anyone know where can i get spares in Penang. Went to BJ today, the Indian fella shop was not open.. feeling anxious liao.

well the rebuildable is easy with the replacement parts costing RM 8 for each atomizer. I am estimating that i would burn up 1 atomizer every 2 weeks of vaping

Please correct me if I am mistaken. I think birdieboogey's rebuildable here means making your own wick and coils because he mentions recoiling. Merely buying and replacing the coil head is not per se rebuilding your protank.

For example, I had built a ss mesh wick and micro coil with cotton wick for a friend's protank. Not your standard coil head that is sold.

Woww...a hybrid wick in protank. Thats quite hard to do. The space is so small to work with

No, not hard at all. For the ss mesh, just make it much longer than it needs it be then coil as per normal. Obviously, the mesh needs to be properly oxidize or you'll wind up with shorts and hotspots. Snip the extra ends after installing.

For the micro coil and cotton. First make the coil and a tiny rigid cylindrical object like a needle, nail, etc. Then fit it in the protank coil head along with the coil around the object. Secure all the wiring ends, then remove the object. Lastly thread cotton into the coil.
