Right on.. well I can only speak from my own experience. I suppose they are cheap enough anyway, it's worth anyone trying for themselves.

also what are you using it on, as the weight issue is kinda null when using the types of mods most of the people I am around use

Oy... I'm not certain exactly what I bought them for. When I started vaping I liked a harder draw, so I was always trying to tighten things up. Since I've gotten into slr on gen rba's, I've come to appreciate a looser draw to let the clouds roll. The only mods I had where the Alpha and Omega. So I would've been definitely using it on one or both of those.

I was vaping mainly carto tanks (still do for out and about as a beater), but I also still have this smoktech top coil rebuildable tank in my drawer... If I was to guess, I grabbed it for that when I was messing with it to try and get it right.

Either Way... the thing adds to much weight to the top of a mod imo. And as I mentioned, the lack of a knurled adjustment ring is a design flaw. Nowadays, I like things sleeker also... adding such a device causes you to loss on any "one piece" look you might be going for.

As I said, these are my opinions on the flow control add on from my experience. If someone wants to give it a go, they're cheap enough to try. I only give you the reason mine sit in my vape junk draw.

But back on topic... Overall I think the protank is a great simple device you can throw in your pocket and not worry about. If you're careful not to make ur draw to tight, because with any bcc, you'll end up flooding, you shouldn't have many problems and get a great vape. I would suggest to anyone looking for a clear tank to try one out!

Just got my new protank in the mail..... Not too airy at all, great taste, lots of vape, not that much louder than vivas....

BUT...

Its crooked! Not alot, just slightly, enough that I definitely notice it. Its not my mod (an iSeason), fits flush, other atomizers fit perfectly on it, and also slightly crooked on my vamo.

Anyone else have this? Wondering if I should return it, it does vape quite nicely.

I would see if they will take a return if it bothers you, just don't expect them to replace it or you may be disappointed

Price was too good to be true. Looked again where I purchased it....
"No Warranties. No Returns. No Refunds. No Replacements."
Guess I'll live with a slightly cocked protank. And tilt my head each time I look at it.

If your saying the 510 stem is bent making it crooked, you can buy a replacement base at Sun-vapers.com. Usually when you hear of the tank being crooked on a Vamo it is because the Vamo stem is crooked.....but I see that is not your case?

Vamo stem was slightly crooked when I first got it ..... but a little friendly & delicate persuasion fixed that. In my mechanical, the protank bottom fits flush with the mod, and I can see the protanks glass is seated in the lower chromed enclosure (where the kangertech logo is) a little crooked. Probably no way to fix this without busting the pyrex, Im sure the glass is glued into the chromed bottom.

Kinda thinking where I purchased it just may be factory seconds, cheapest price around, didn't notice the no returns statement when I ordered it few days ago. Ah well.

I like the draw. But I have problems leaking. I also been using 80pg 20 vg. Could that be the problem. Other than the leak, I liked it better than the novas.

I've been using 50/50 juice in both my ProTanks and haven't incurred any leaking. Not certain if that's the reason, but I don't have any other PG/VG proportions to try.

I really didn't like the ProTank at first as I felt it lacked flavor, and felt airy. Now it is one of my daily drivers.

I started by yanking a wick out of the stock atomizer, which helped a lot. Then I made myself use it for a day at work (kept a filled DCT in the lunchbox, just in case.) This worked out well, until today when I got the burnt taste. Luckily I picked up some EVOD 1.8 ohm heads yesterday. So after a day of sucking burnt at work I swapped out the atomizer with one of the EVOD heads (swap the shaft, remove a wick) filled it, tried it, works great.

Now I consider it a good 'lazy tank' or set it and forget it.

It's sorta like my first Protank, it leaks just a tiny bit around the top where the glass meets the tip, I was offered a replacement by the vendor but I had already filled it, vaped it and named it, "Leaky". Now it's a quirky member of the family and I could never swap out family....I just wrap some clear scotch type tape around the top when filling and once it is sealed I can take it off due to the vacuum.

I have 5 others now, but "Leaky" is still my favorite!

I vape 80/20 and none of my KPTs have leaked. Make sure your coil is tight. There may be a 1/2 extra turn that could be had...?

 same here.

Turns out my wife liked the looks, tried it, and wanted me to order a kangerpro for her. And the true gentleman I am, gave her mine as I ordered another for myself from another vendor. LOL. Think in a couple days I'll ask her how in the world she possibly bent her new tank. :)
