I haven't yet (waiting for my 3mm wicks to come) but others have said it's quite easy.
Google recoiling EVOD's to see some easy to follow how to videos.

Replacement head/coils are a $1.75 ( $1.6625 with the 5% newsletter discount ). I do recall someone saying they did it and it wasn't any harder than recoiling one for the Vision Vivi Nova

You DO bring up a very good point about how ridiculously cheap the replacement coils are, but I want to play around with recoiling these things just for the fun of it. It's a skill that may come in handy if there's a shortage of coils someday.

I was mostly just having a bit of fun being a bit snarky... hence the "lol"

Though it is true I don't mess around with my Evod's or ProTank heads... I got them for ease of use etc. My AGA-T+, AGI, IGO-L, and two different Phoenix Bully's, and I think I've got an AC9 somewhere even, all are another story...
