Kanger only makes the long heads now to fit the tanks unless you find a vendor with the short ones still in stock, I don't think that makes a difference in the draw. You can hold a finger over the one or two of the holes in the bottom cap that will tighten the draw. Or put a little tape over them.

Hi Krizell, Kangertech definitely still makes both long and short stalks. Its just that vendors prefer purchasing the long stalks as they work on almost any Kangertech clearomiser. I know first hand that they still manufacture and sell it. Take care, happy vaping :)

Hello,

boy-o-boy a big diff in draw - if you have the two take a look at
how big the diameter down the center tube is...

long one is much bigger allowing big air draw :)

Yes pufZeppelin, thats exactly how it is. I like both of them, i chop and change between the two. To me, the longer stalk provides more airflow and the draw is smooth and a bit airier. The short stalk has a tighter draw, and seems to make my juice taste a bit sweeter, a bit tastier. Different strokes for different okes i suppose :D ... Give me either in 1.8Ohms and i am a happy chappy. Take care and happy vaping.

I have no contact with Kanger, but a few of the vendors sites that I surf have statements explaining
that they were notified by Kanger, that they will be combining the evod & protank atomizing coils (long stem style)
and discontinuing the short stem evod style...

you must of read that also on some of the sites...

so your saying they will keep making the short EVOD style ?

I like the smaller capacity because I have flavor add. I don't like vaping the same flavor all day so I can change to a different juice more often. I drilled out one of the airholes on the base and I actually really like the airier draw it gave me, changes up performance from the pt1 and 2, I can do direct lung draws on it now.

Hey pufZeppelin, i know that Kanger are saying that you can use the long stem coils with both protanks (all of them) as well as with the Evods. This makes it easier for vendors, as they have a one size fits all. Even the box says Kangertech Evod/Protank coils.

With regards to them saying that they're discontinuing the short stalks, i am unaware of that. I have just recently, as in a week and a bit ago, purchased both long and short directly from Kanger.

I didn't receive any notifications that the short stalk coils are going to be discontinued, although its not the first time i'm hearing this. But to be honest, i love em both, so either way i am happy :D

yepper, understand... (not a weatherman either, but sometimes tell people I heard it's gonna rain) ;)

just some vendors have displayed Kangers statement and got me to thinking
about stocking up on 'short-stem' coils while they last so to have them around
'cause like you said, "I like them both"...

:)
