Kanger Protank or Sigelei Zmax v2 threading issue?

I bought a Kanger Protank and have used it in my Vamo V2 successful

I bought a sigelei Zmax V2 and the Protank won't thread to it. It starts about a quarter turn and becomes really tight. I'm afraid of striping one of them so I stop.

The Zmax has no troubles with any other 510 connections I put on it, including my VapeOnly BCC, Vivi Nova, iClear 30 or random tankomizers. Its just the Protank giving me problems.

I can put them together using a 510 adapter but not direct. This is driving me nuts, there is no reason it shouldn't work.

HELP! Which one is the problem, or are they just a match made in hell?

Pick up a M7x.5 nut and bolt - work nut on Kanger threads - Work Bolt on Sigelei threads. Try again.

Problem is likely in the Kanger threads. Vamo has loose tolerances.

Oh, and the Protank has no problems threading into adaptors or my ego batteries. So I really can't point blame at one or the other still.....

any update on this? this was the exact set up i was looking into so i searched compatibility before buying and found this thread lol.
