I'm looking for a new tank and my head is spinning. I'm pretty confident I want something from Kangertech as too many people have scared me away from the Kayfuns. I currently have the Big Buddha Mini but cracked the tank and since I can't buy a new glass for it I'm pretty much done with ehpro. Once I start looking at all the Kanger choices I don't even know what the difference is in all of these tanks. Can someone with knowledge fill me in here? I'm looking at the Kanger Nano as I like the 18.5 mm size tank. I definetely want to be able to build my own coils. What is the difference between the subtank, toptank, etc? Thanks!

I don't have much Kanger kit but I do have a Nano, so a heads up...

I don't think Kanger makes an RBA deck for the Nano, yet, though there is a clone on FasTech.
I haven't checked any reviews on it, and I can't believe there'd be much capacity left using it.

If you do or want to rebuild the factory heads, then that's another option.

Thank you! I thought that's what I had been reading but wasn't sure if it was correct. That's a bummer!

Do you have a subtank or toptank? Do you know the difference? I was wondering if either had an RBA deck...

In descending size, they are...
-Original Sub Tank (XL size also available - 7ml)
-Sub Tank Mini
-And the wee Nano.

The new top-fill Top Tanks are Mini and Nano sizes.

Kanger only made RBA decks for the Original and Mini, not the Nano.
I expect the only functional changes for the TopTanks will be the top fill cap, so existing RBAs should work in them. Haven't checked though.

Otherwise... current RBAs will have to specify which version. That should be easy to find out.

This is true, like Jim said. The Nano will not have RBA because there is not much space left for e-juice if you plug RBA deck into the nano. It seems to be the only different between Toptank and Subtank is top-filling function. I have them two, great flavor (both SSOCC coil and RBA), lot of vapor, and warm vapor. I usually use it at 0.5 ohm, 25 watts. One of my favorite tanks !

There's no Kanger Nano RBA... as I said, there's a clone available on Fastech.
I'd be surprised though if it left room for even 1.5ml. :p

If you're using the new SSOCCs, beware the wire type, though the Ni should be obvious.

Red ring - NiChrome wire, power mode only.
Pink O-ring - Stainless Steel, use power or SS TC modes.
Blue - Nickel, Ni TC mode only.
Black - Clapton coil, could be Kanthal or NiChrome, either way... power mode only.

Thanks for explaining! Very helpful info! I surely would've bought the wrong one!
