For me, what works is starting super low on a new coil then gradually upping the temp 20 to 40 degrees at a time until I reach 440 degrees. This is usually the temp range I like to vape at. YMMV

Kanger Ni coils always register higher than .15 on my devices, more so when first installed. It is not uncommon for me to see them reading .18 or .20, so I start at 250 degrees and work my way up.
