Kanger subtank authenticity question

Got one of these from these from mtbakervapor.com in June for like $15. While I realize it was on clearance, I've been seeing this same tank on other websites and they are mostly between $25-$30 which seems odd to me. I scanned the code on the back of the back of the back and it checked out as authentic but I've heard that even clones can pass this test and the fact the tank was so cheap is putting me off. I even went to the trouble of scanning the box enough times until it told me it had be run through too many times so it would tell me when the first query was made, which in fact was 2 days before I received it in the mail. Any thoughts

They are a 3 year old tank.
Many places have been "fire" saleing them.
Last year Vape Happy had a $9.99 sale.
Get them while you can....

It's authentic. MBV had those on clearance at $13.99 forever this year and finally sold out last month.

Those guys at MBV are legit and only sell authentic gear, unless otherwise noted.

Glad you got one. Wish I'd gotten more than three.

MBV is not going to send you a clone, they're a very reputable site. I know it can be odd to get something that seems like it "should" cost more, but just go ahead and enjoy your mod.
