I entered the vaping world on March 1 after 30+ years of 2-3 packs a week of Marlboro red 100's. I bought the eleaf 30w battery with the nautilus mini. Wonderful! Good taste a vapor production. It took a while to get used to the setup with various flavor juices. I use 18 nic. However, lately I've found that I've been sucking away on this to get a more satisfying hit. So, after much debate with myself I purchased the subtank min with the eleaf 50w battery. Another nice setup. But now I'm having trouble decding which unit is better. Does anyone have some pointers on how to decide? I'd hate to have one of these "go to waste". On the contrary (since the kanger came today, 7/24) what would the benfits be of having/using the two setups?
One 18650 battery won't get me from dawn to dusk. While 2x18650's will get me through the day there's disclaimer - if I use Nautilus tanks. The so called "subtanks" use 2-3x the juice and battery to power the. I normally rotate at least two setups. One usually has more nicotine than the other. One may have a 'all day cape' blend while the other has something different.
I'm currently camping. I brought 2x18650 replaceable mods (with tanks) one extra battery for each along with two different fixed battery backups (outfitted with their own tanks). Two are subohm TC setups, the other two are Nautilus setups.
So yes, unless your vamping habit if fairly light, you'll make use of old setups when your primary interests move to other setups. I have two "kits" of older stuff I lend out to friends who still use analogs.
Which is better? Personally I think they are made for different vaping styles and are difficult for direct comparison. One is "airy" with plenty of air flow available for most while the other is more restricted, low air/vapor flow.
While the STM's air flow can be turned down to Nautilus like draw, it also has a RBA option which can save the user a pile of $$$ over prebuilt store bought adamizers.
I like my Nautilus tanks but now have 3x STM and if given the choice between the two, my vote goes with the STM.
