Primed the coil with a 50/50 and let her sit while I took a shower and first impressions are wow. Not quite the punch of vapor that I'm used to but this thing rus very smooth and great flavor at 20w, puts out a decent cloud but not something super massive where it make people uncomfortable in public. Just found myself a nice out and about stealth vape!

I believe you can order the VOCC coils online. I only use the RBA with my Subtank, and even with the RBA, I stay below 30/watts. Is there a reason you're so obsessed with vaping at a set wattage vs what works and tastes better? Did you dry burn/pulse your coil? There are many methods of wicking, maybe try a different method?
I think part of my obsession is more the less pushing things and seeing what can and can't be done because I'm so new to it.... I suppose the reason I'm pushing a higher wattage is because with this particular coils and the verticle the draw was so smooth and the flavor was so tense I was a,axed with it. Now I've gathered that the RDA deck it comes with is simple cheaper to build my own so I am just going to go to a local vape shop and offer someone some sort of payment to properly tech me how to best build my coils and what not. Maybe it's just the coils it came with that was pre wound

I build my Subtanks like I do my Kayfuns, Russians, and Taifun GT. Once the coil is built, wicked, and the wick tucked in properly, I soak the coil and wick before closing up the chamber to make sure it is definitely primed for use. My first Russian I had built the coil, forgot to prime the coil, had it filled up, fired it, was like a slap in the throat, drained the tank, tore it apart to figure out what happened, found the wick burned through the whole middle, laying to the sides, rinsed out the coil, rewicked, wet everything up, re-assembled, refilled, first hit after that, was perfect.
