I have 2 Kanger T2 clearos that have been working great for a few days, I took one out with me today and it started leaking down the center post onto my battery terminal. It has never done this before, but I have had this issue with stardusts before. I wrote it off as being in the hot car all day, maybe the liquid got thing with heat and worked its way down the center post; whatever, I'll swap it out with my other one when I get home. Except the second one is doing it too! Neither one of these has had any issues like this before, and now they're both suddenly doing the same thing?? I've checked the head, and it's screwed on tightly, the silicon sleeve is fully down. I'm getting really frustrated with these, I thought I had found my clearo solution. Anyone have any ideas? I just ordered a bunch more of these, and they're turning out to be disappointing

Great vapor, great flavor, easy to fill, rebuildable, but leaking.... Every other post I see online is raving about how these things don't gurgle or leak.

Be sure the coil is screwed down securely to the center tube. Sometimes unscrewing the mouthpiece will also unscrew the coil if it is not secure. This can cause leaking.

Check the mouthpiece thoroughly. With juice in the tank, turn the unit mouthpiece down and let it set for a couple minutes. If there is ANY juice on the outside of the mouthpiece, or where the mouthpiece screws down to the tube, you are leaking air and this will cause leaking. Sometimes the metal screw piece will not be securely glued into the mouthpiece. Try to pull it out of the plastic portion; if you can, simply clean it and super glue it back together.

You mentioned temperature, which can build up pressure in the tube and cause leaking. Remove the T2 and blow through it to clear the excess. Use a Q-tip and clean any excess juice from your connector.

A lot of people like to slot the silicone, or pull it up a little to keep it from wick-pinching. Any of those actions is done at your own risk and can easily cause leaking.

I've had this same problem and have done several things. One is mess with the silicon, and another is replace the head. The head can unscrew with the cap, which was mentioned. I've also had leaking out the bottom of the plastic but I do believe I was too heavy handed with that one, from googling the issue. I just tossed aside that one as I've three others. In two weeks, though, I've come across every problem except the cracking plastic tops, because I have the new ones. I'm hoping its just my noobness in action and not the clearos themselves.

Between my wife and I we have been through 4 of these. The first one was dropped in the parking lot of our apartment, and broke into 3 pieces..her fault. The second one, rolled off the counter and onto the tile floor, cracking it right up the middle..my fault. Now, she has another one, and I have another one. I had 1 out of the 4 leak onto the battery. It was only a very small drop, so I didn't worry too much about it. I have found that the head/atty/wick HAS to be screwed on the post tight, not to tight, or you'll strip the threads.

Bottom line, these aren't bad little clearo's, but you just have to be careful with these guys. If you take them around, make sure you have some type of pcc or you'll risk breakage.

I finally gave up on the T2's and went with the Vivi Nova-Mini. Knock on wood, so far so good. I have taken them apart about 3 times to clean and when put back together they fire right up just like new. I have one T2 burn out and replaced the atomizer and it still did not work. I think something in the bottom burned up.

So, on the leaking Kanger T2s, I have pretty much nailed it down to design. That is, if you look at the bottom of the unit, where the clearo screws onto the battery, there is the part of the post that makes connection to the battery. This, I'm 99% sure, is where the leakage is coming from. The gurgling comes from air passing through juice that has leaked into the pocket left between the battery and tank.

Anyhow, I've switched to a non-leaky T2, and am cleaning the leaky one. I am going to fiddle with it to see if I can't come up with some way to seal the spot where the post meets the bottom of the tank (if you look, there's a little rubber o-ring there). Just a theory at this point, but I do think the problem is to be found with the bottom part of the post.

I don't think that's the problem. Mine floods when it's filled to the wicks. If you fill it just below it doesn't gurgle or leak. To me the problem is the head sitting on top of the tip. When it's filled and you set it down horizontally, liquid goes into the air channel and doesn't get burned, further down through the post to the battery.

My solution is not to over fill it. Just below the wicks. Maybe it's leaking through the bottom but most certainly it needs a better way to keep the airflow hole empty.

When I carry it in a lanyard it never gurgles.

I'm a fan of T2s... I have noticed that when the tanks starts getting down of liquid (below 1 ml) it starts to leak... I have noticed that the same thing happens with the -T systems (Ego-T, Ego-C, 510-T).

Is this some kind of gravity issue? maybe condensation?? The gurgling can stop by blowing the tank or hitting the battery hard until the excess of liquid is burnt.

As far I can tell, these attys rock all the way... but as any other system it has some inconvenients.
