After about 3 fills my T2 is giving me problems with leaking into the centre post which makes it gurgle, and then tasted like burnt sugar. I was at work so I took out the head and rinsed it and dry burned it. That got most of the burnt taste away, and I will actually give it a full cleaning later once I finish the rest of the .4mL that's still in it (I wasted enough juice trying to clear out the damned thing :/).

Hopefully that stops any problems...

Are you using the short or long wicks?
After cleaning the T2 thoroughly, and filling up until 1.6ml, my T2 doesn't leak or gurgle at all :)

Even having it laying horizontally all night, it kept a good seal. I made sure to tighten the atty head down really good though.

I'm still using the short wick ones with the cup. I rarely have issues with these. I bought 10 long wick coils that I still have not tried yet. Are the long wick ones better?
The wicks are like 15mm on each side coming out of the head. Apparently these are the "long wick" ones?... Lol

I would disagree about snaps easily. We have used these over many times and only one wire has broken.
When I opened it, the wire was twisted tighter than I could have done it with two pairs of pliers as there were 4-5 knots in the wire.
It was then that I noticed all the deep cut grooves in the wifes battery post from 9 months of use.
Her battery is a cheap one, but it was her favorite and she used it daily. She also changes devices a lot during the day which combined with the lower battery quality would account for the grooves in my opinion.

I'm glad you like your nova mini as we hated ours. They vape about as well as a wet sock.
They deliver the same style of vape as the ego clearomizer (aka stardust) as they wick the thinner parts of the juice faster and leave the heavier particulates for the end, but that is another topic all together.

I have 3 nova & 20 diff coils & everyone of the stupid things leak down around the threads into the drip well. I have tried everything. Put under a magnifier & threads look fine. Seems to be poor machining between the male coil threads & the female center post. I just fill below where the two thread together. I was going to try the T2 but now I don't know. Seems where the threaded parts mate is a weak spot in terms of proper machining. FAIL. Is there a top coil that does not leak? I purchased mine from three diff places & are supposed to be genuine. I even tried thread tape. IDK

Hi ricks, Save those cups. Haven't used the short wick since Sept, but still have one that 's unopened. Ive only used long wick since that first short wick. Its really hard to say better:unsure: I still like the short wick stardust.....other than the drop on the battery, that I don't get from the T2. Something about short wicks that seem to give a bit more flavor??????? In any case, don't forget to clean those long wick heads before first use.

Actually I prefer the old cup wicks as they are more consistent, with the longer wicks I'm often getting a 'near to burnt' hit about every 5-10 draws.

So you say the short ones are better? I have been keeping my old short coil ones. Just in case I decide to rebuild them.

I'm a big fan of the Kanger T2's. Never had a problem. They are especially geared to the eGo batteries but that's what I use. The head/atty replacements are really cheap and easy to swap out when the old one dies. Couple of things will make them leak though. Not using a 510 to eGo adapter (edited) - if you have a battery different to the eGo - (edit); overfilling the clearo; screwing the base on too tight to the battery can stress where the plastic meets the metal on the base of the clearo, and using caustic liquids - pluid, citrus, cinnamon.
Kanger T3's and I do not get along however. Too airy for me, plus it seemed like the atty only wanted to work every other puff...maybe....

How long do yours last? I clean mine every 5 refills and I use them for about 40 fills.

about the same ricks - i use 100% VG so they might not last as long - around 20? but with the coil replacements at around $1, I haven't paid too much attention. I sincerely hope they don't retire them.

Have been for me, but with so many sources, changes there could be as good new type heads around, just haven't found them myself. I don't think it will be easy to rebuild them though as the coil is surrounded by the steel body but good luck if you try.

I used to use the long(ish) wick heads (in Europe there are long wicks, to the bottom of the clearo). After a while they started leaking through the battery post. I never got around to really knowing what was wrong with them, as if the silica in the wick wore out and started gurgling all the time. One thing you could try is replacing the driptip for a solid aluminum one, the screw on the tip often gets loose and leaks air in.

I've migrated to T3, I prefer them, and heads are becoming cheaper by the minute!
