I would post this on a more appropriate thread category but since I'm fairly new to the forum this is the only one I can post in .

So I got two T3 clearomizers from stormysvaporcellar.com and 2 from vaporbeast.com . From both sites I got one that worked amazing and one that left something to be desired. I have 2 ego-c twists, one 1000mah and one 650mah.

The first bad one I got from stormys had a very close-to-impossible draw. The excessive draw force would pull too much juice into the center tube and it would end up dripping onto my battery. I was able to return that one to get a replacement whenever they got a new shipment, but that was before I opened a replacement coil bottom and screwed it on just to find the same issue. Not wanting to complain yet again 2 days after the first mishap, I started tinkering and found a solution. With the smallest drill I could find in my toolbox, I was able to gently and carefully open up the air-holes on the sides. This drastically improved the draw on my 650mah but for some reason on my 1000mah I was still getting an awful tight draw. For some reason the little white rubber ring around the T3s post that makes contact with the battery was creating a tighter seal on my 1000mah than on my 650mah. By shaving off a small portion from one side the clearo was finally drawing way better on both batteries.

From vaporbeast I actually had initial problems with both clearos. They were creating a burnt taste every 2 hits or so, but I was able to fix one by removing the extra wicking stacked on the coil-wick and replacing it with one wick-strand from an old T2 replaceable head. That one hit perfect after that, but the other one was stubbornly burnt tasting to the point where I had to contact the very helpful vaporbeast people and get a replacement for the whole piece. Another thing about the piece I couldn't fix was that the coil base would screw onto the tank very well and left more spacing than normal between coil base and tank. I don't know if that had anything to do with the burnt taste problem but it was an observation.

All this said, the ones that are working well are working better than any other clearo I have tried thus far. So well that I thought it was worth attempting to fix the bad ones and worth sharing to see other people's experiences/comments/solutions with their T3s. I've read the other threads on the T3s but couldn't post anything and couldn't find posts about similar problems and attempts to resolve them. I would love to hear what you have to say about the T3s you've tried.

Good day all.

Thanks for your observations!

I ordered two T3s. I was using on for the last week and opened the other one yesterday. Both of them are performing well, but there's a noticeable draw difference. Neither of them are pulling poorly; one is just tighter than the other. Your experience shows that there's some possible (probably?) inconsistency with this product.

That said, I plan on ordering more when someone has them in stock. It's definitely my favorite clearomizer out of the several I've tried.

My opinion, the Kangers are better than the Vivi Nova... but I like more the T2 than the T3.... I prefer top coils because the I get better flavor and warmer vapor than the bottom coils.

I have heard a lot of complaints on the T2, but mine it has 1.5 months and still working as a champ (BTW I have replaced just one head by now).

It's possible you're probably spot on Rpad :) . I guess it would be better to say I've liked the "idea" of the T3 the best out of all the clearos I've tried, but it's the product inconsistency plague in the vaping world that frustrates so many people (me included). I know it's a manufacturer thing and the vendors I mentioned were helpful, it's just sucky customers have to take a gamble like that, especially on new products. If it's a matter of consistency the T2 definitely takes the cake; I second vapmex on that as far as product consistency and durability. But I'm liking the vapor and flavor on the T3 a little better on the units that are working so far. T2s are close second.

I actually haven't tried the THOR so I can't compare on that one. I may have to try one, but I'm afraid to like that one piece then order more and get duds, resulting in further confusion about my choices lol.

The only clearos I still have from 1-2 months back are in fact the T2s, and they're still truckin'. My vision V3 clearos have had leaking issues since despite base replacements; I liked the vapor and flavor on those but I found them a bit of a pain to take apart and clean. Some ESCO E1s I ordered around the same time tasted like burnt plastic almost immediately and were discarded; they even felt flimsy and cheap so I even felt it would be a waste of time to fiddle around.

I'm definitely buying more T3s when they come back in stock in hopes of getting better units, as the idea still prevails overall. Kanger all in all is my top choice so far.

FYI: iVape has them in stock in multiple colors and also has the low-resistance coils. I ordered two more units and a bunch of coils. Hopefully these work as well as the ones I have now!

You're a pal... Just ordered them (2 units in black and 4 replacement coils), crossing my fingers that we get a good batch! I really want these to be it, no more inner debating when choosing clearomizers.

Let us know when you get them (that goes for anyone) see how they are when they arrive. Hopefully that'll allow some comparison in consistency and help fellow vapers' chances to get good units. Perhaps vendors will weed out the not-so-solid manufacturers and opt to get supplied from more legit ones.

Just got the T3s from iVape. Filled both up, one with Gandalf and one with RY4 from HHV. They're both working fantastic. I still open and removed one of the wicks, leaving only the coil wick and another single strand on top (it brings two strands aside from coil wick). Hitting perfectly, no dry hits, no draw issues, great flavor, great vapor. This is it (Finally)!
