Get a Evod or Vapeonly BCC. If you get the BCC pull out a wick or two with tweezers if you get dry hits

I haven't tried the vivi nova yet, though it is on my list of toppers to try, but I love my T3. That said I did have a bit of a scare with mine earlier today--my flavor was off (we're talking about a flavor I vape often) but I tried it in other things and I realized that it was actually me.
As to the gurggling noises that have been reported, that only seems to happen to me when its getting really close to time to refill the T3. We're talking like around the 0.2mL range. I've found that removing it and blowing into the battery connection lightly will clear the gurgling noise if it happens to bother you--I think the wicks may be flooding the coil at so low a level (but I don't know for sure). Also there may have been a bad batch at some point as others have reported not only that particular problem but also a plastic-like taste.
In my limited experience in vaping (I've only been vaping 6, almost 7 weeks) it seems to me that the answer as to is X better than Y is a hard question to actually answer objectively. juice taste seems to be subjective as does device performance. So I would say it would be a good idea to have mods that will accept a lot of different toppers. And that the best topper is the one you like best.
