I've used both the Vivi Novas and the Kanger T3s and had a slight preference for the Vivi Novas. I've found that the VNs could be a little bit of a hit or miss with flavor and the T3s needed to be fiddled with a bit. In my opinion, you should try both of them and decide for yourself. When I gave out some starter kits to family members I included two of each.

I hated kanger v2s so im afraid to try the v3s. I always get a plastic taste aside from vivi novas and bauway clearos. Vivi novas have such a muted draw tho.

If by "muted" you mean tight or hard draw (semantics), you can probably drill out the air holes a little. How to do so depends on which version(s) you have. Do a google search and you'll likely find instructions or even videos.

T3 - well built, great wicking due to bottom coil but like others have stated very airy draw and does get gurgly at times. Gives a nice, clean, cool vape when working properly

Vivi Nova - Good build (T3 is better imho), must tilt to keep wicks wet when tank gets low and can also get gurgly if flooded. Better draw then the T3 with a nice warm vape (which I prefer) but I do get wet hits some time from them.

I like them both, T3 is better priced initially but replacement attys are more expensive than the vivi's and with the vivi's you have more options for resistance levels. My vote is for the vivi as I prefer its draw and warm vape. However if I could reproduce the warm vape on the T3 it would get my edge just on build quality and vape quality.

T3 is my fav. because even on a VV u can get the warmer vape I love but with it being a bottom feeder I get a better draw, where as the VIVI and Ce4's and other top fed, longer wicks its a tighter draw i have found.

What voltage are using to get a warm vape? I've went to 4.2 and still get a cool draw, if I go higher the vape is still cool but I start to get a burnt taste from it.

I use a DAV for the present time and I get a nice warm vape from roughly 4.4 to 4.6 later at night I go up to a 4.8

I haven't used a T3 yet, but have been using novas pretty much exclusively for almost a year probably. I just haven't found anything that can compare, let alone improve upon the novas as far as flavor/taste and performance go. I do have my complaints tho. They are fiddily. For a while I was having a HUGE issue with that damn rubber cap. It was always getting twisted, or pushed over too far when screwing the novas cap back on. which would result in leaking/gurgling. Since, I have found a work-around for keeping the rubber cap in place while screwing the top back on.

Now, my main issue with the novas is getting constant juice flow into the coils, so that the flavor/taste is consistent, EVEN when chain vaping. What happens a lot when you "chain vape", you loose flavor, and get a burnt/bad taste. ESPECIALLY with thick, VG juice like bobas. Simply tipping it doesn't help. So, the only solution I found is to cut little nitches in the rubber cap, where the wicks come out. Problem with doing this is that it is a BIG pain in the .... PLUS you have to be veryyyyy careful how small you cut the nitches, because if you cut them too big, then the nova will flood and gurgle. and once you cut your nitches, lining them up perfectly with the wicks while screwing the cap on is ANOTHER challenge. SO as you can see, the novas can also be a big pain... its a love hate relationship.

I am in the both are good camp. I use both daily, I like both. The 3.5 ViVi Nova is easy to fill and clean, reliable, vapes well (IMHO), and holds lots of juice. The throat hit is warm and I like them. THe T2 and T3 are also very nice. I personally can not tell as some claim that there is a significant flavor difference between the two. You will have to be the judge of that. The Kanger is cheaper so that is a plus on the side of the T2 or T3. The kanger has nice lines and looks better I think. Get one of each and try them. They are fairly inexpensive.

Use both: prefer T2 to T3, prefer Vivi to either, prefer carto tank to all of the above, prefer rba to all the previous. Vapor production and flavor are the reasons for my above preference.

Kangers plug up with flavor-rich juices, and the wick burns pretty easy. Can't go above 3.6V with 'em. BUT, they work right out of the box, and can be washed a few times before needing a new wick/coil insert.

Vivi's can be manually rebuilt(wick, coil and all), or they can be rebuilt with a mesh wick, making them similar in function to an RBA.

Here's a link to rebuilding the wick/coil for a Vivi:

Here's a link to adding a mesh wick to a Vivi. The mesh wick would be an improvement over wick/coil: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcPZcxW9tTk&list=PLeVIS3oqOFgMjkuIg9hZKYxkAMDitJB3B

not true at all !! i use mine at 3.7 or higher depending on what i want at the moment,,and both the T3 and T2 can be rebuilt with either a silica or stainless mesh wick !!

Really? I vape with mine at 4.2 with no problems. Of course, juice probably matters, and I'm not sure what you mean by "flavor rich."

Recently acquired some T3's. was impressed at first, now they seem to gurgle frequently. Gonna try the Novas next

I have to agree with this. I have figured out what juice the T3 doesn't like and don't use that. The Vivi Nova is my absolute favorite for everything in it. Great flavor and great vapor.
