Hi guys, I am using a
kgo batt with a Kanger T3. E-liquid from Northwest extra Vg 18mg nicotine. Good vape but severe throat irritation Is the coil to low of a resistance and burning to warm for me?

You would know if you had a burning taste. In which case you would have the voltage setup too high.

If not, it's probably the juice. It is 100%PG (propylene glycol)? PG is known for some people having throat irritation. If so, see if you can have it ordered in 100% PG, or a mix of the two.

I usually run a 2.5 t3 between 3.7 to 4.2 mostly around 4.0 depending on what device and juice im using start there.
Now there are a couple other things that could be a problem like its not wicking well you can blow gently into it till you see little bubbles come up from the bottom. Also when you first get them they have primer in them and until it burns off it wont vape so good.
I usually wash them before I use them.

high Vg does not wick well in any device plain and simple..i cant vape 100% VG ,it gives way too much thorat hit for me and i cough every dam time i try

that being said i use 70% PG or higher in my T3's andhave never had any dry hits, burning or the leaking that everybody complains about, but then again i get th genuine ones from Kanger factory, not the knock-offs that everybody seems to be getting these days

I am also using 70% PG. Purchased mine @ Discount Vapers and brought the brand name.

Phil Busardo reported some nasty taste issues with T3s. It seems there's a bit of a consistency problem at the moment, and he's withdrawn his recommendation for now.

Doubt he realized the ones he was using for the second comparision is made by Vision, not by kanger

you can go to the vision website,it is stated that they are making knock-offs at their factory

Several reasons
1. ur liquid is thick and clogging up the wicks so u r getting continues dry hits which will definitely make you cough.
2. the resistance thing maybe you could try low resistance ones and higher ones and standard experiment...
3. its your juice some juices are irritating for some and lovely for others. you just need to find your comfort zone.

I don't know if this will work for you but it helped me a lot. There's a yt link floating around in one of the T3 threads under the clearo subforum that shows how to remove one of the 4 wicks. I did this and it seemed to help a little. Then I realized that I was pulling too hard. This thing seems to hit a lot better with just a really gentle pull. For me, if I can hear the air being sucked in to the clearo, I'm pulling too hard.
