I just got my protank 2 today. The guy at the smoke shop assembled it and filled it for meand I was happy with it . Once the liquid got low it started leaking liquid through the mouth piece and stopped vaping. I figured it was just because it was low so it took it apart and cleaned everything. I reassembled it (made sure the threads matched up and everything was sealed right) but it's still making a gurgling sound and leaking liquid into my mouth. So what should I do?

i had the same exact problem. For me personally it was frustrating. Idk if this will work for others, but what i noticed is that the protank 2 has an airflow issue when you take a hit. what i found that 100% fixed my tank was i took the rubber o-ring from the drip tip off my crappy CE4 clearo. i put that o ring snug underneath the rubber grommet thats on the ''chimney'' of the coil. this fixed all my leaking/flooding issues and i can vape a whole tank to dang near empty no problems

When the juice gets low, it does tend to spit and gurgle. Outside of that issue, it will gurgle a lot when the heat/voltage is too hot or when liquid is in the "air tube". Just take take it off the battery (clean the battery connector) and blow the driptip into a tissue to get the liquid out of the tank. Generally speaking, Protanks are known to "talk to you". Maybe not exactly your problem, but ya know ...

Took a picture lol :D I think the O-Ring gives the atomizer the perfect amount of space for airflow and vacuum when you take draws/hits. It's been 3 days no issues at all. My ProTank 2 vapes like a champ now. I also noticed that my 900 mah Ego-T batteries vape perfect with 2.2 ohm coils

No issues with mine although I read an article that mentioned unscrewing the bottom to release the air pressure built up in the tank. This action makes sure the juice can easily sit at the bottom of the tank and saturate the wick. If I ever have an issue, I plan on trying that first. Science!

It did work for me.
Sometimes adding more wick to the coil also does the trick.

I don't know how to rewick. I took a peek inside and noticed that there are two silicone looking things sticking out. I'm assuming those are the wicks? I tried the 2nd atomizer that came with it but I still had the same problem. I really need to vape and I need to fix this soon :( I wish they had a dummy proof one for us newbies. I had the standard one that came with my kit but it hardly produced any vape so I decided to upgrade to this one.

I've had a pro tank 2 for about 5 months and I've noticed an inconsistency in wick performance.

That is putting it lightly. :D If it were not for the fact they are cheap and can be re-built, I'm not sure these tanks would be so popular. I mean getting only a day or two out of a head is ridiculous (mileage varies of course).

Since we talking videos, this video is the one that help me get started. There are many videos like this. Just search YouTube.

I bought some organic cotton and did not even need to take the tank apart much! took like 2 min! just do a search for Micro Coil and Cotton Protank Evod Head Rebuild I used the second one with the lady's hands on the preview used what I learned from that video! I have the supplies to build the coils but this made such a HUGE difference for me o I have not gone that far yet.

When juice gets in the tube you can twist a corner of a paper towel and clean it out by sticking it in the tube and spinning the paper towel once or twice, or run a q-tip through it. But sometimes it seems like the wick wicks in too much fluid like it's got too much open space. It helps to have a few spares. Sometimes it seems like the ones that come with the tank are of lesser quality.

I love my PT2... it did take a little trial and error to get it set up right- the right amount of wick, and flipping the cup-like-"o-ring" on the chimney.
It's as much set up, as it is technique to using the PT2.

I can empty the tank to a few drops and get no gurgling now, though a bit of juice does pool under the drip tip, but I chalk that up to condensation, I never eat the juice :)

I rewick my PT heads straight out of the package. No need to disassemble. Remove the factory wick with tweezers. Roll a piece of organic cotton between your fingers and thread it through the coil. Trim ends with scissors and viola! It takes less than a minute and makes the world of difference.

I went back to the smoke shop and the guy took it apart. He replaced an o ring and voila, it worked! He said they can be bad right of the box and said to replace it or double up on two bad ones.Has anyone noticed this problem before? Is there a way to keep them from going bad? He said not to over tighten the unit. He also said he uses a protank and never replaces the wick. He cleans them up with alcohol and they work perfectly. I'm happy with the flavor and vapor with the silica wick. Would it still benefit me to change to cotton?
