I've been vaping on and off for about a year now. About a month ago I got the kangertech aerotank with an itaste click 1280 battery. It had been producing a weird taste kind of soapy, so I got a new liquid baker white strawberry fields. On normal settings it tastes burnt or off (after priming) I'm using the standard coils. I've done everything I can think of. I've cleaned it throughly, tried different flavors, flipped up the silicone piece on the coil, and messing with watts on the battery as well as controlling air flow different amounts. Nothing seems to fix it. When I try a dry hit it only floods it. I have no idea what to do. I've also tried using a single coil but that made the burnt taste even worse. Any suggestions? I've been on the computer all day trying to find someone that's had similar problems but I can't find much on my tank and the little I have found hasn't helped. PLEASE HELP!

Now a few hours later at work, I have air flow fully open I just have the rubber piece on the coil upside down ( if not it taste burnt) and the pulls are really hard. I'm getting to the point with vapes to where I'm about ready to stop with them. I need help desperately!

Only thing I can give you, is let it soak over night in Rubbing Alcohol (in case there is still some machine oil from manufacture lurking in corners)

The rinse in warm/hot water, use a piece of paper towel to pull through the stem and run around in the bottom of the aeroring, where the bottom of the coil sits.

Let soak in vodka, then air dry. If that doesnt get rid of any residue, nothing will.

also start at the lowest voltage and see what happens.

I did I real good cleaning while at work. Obviously I didn't have any vodka or alcohol to clean it with, but I got as much liquid residue off as I could. I update the original forum too due to additional issues. I wasn't aware that I was supposed to drop some liquid on the wick prior to use I only thought I had to prime it. I'm gonna put in a new coil when I get home and try dropping liquid on it before priming. It seems like the flavors are normal for about a day then I start getting the burning taste out but it never goes back to normal taste, usually that's when the soapy taste comes in at. After I cleaned it I let it sit for about 2 1/2 hours and that's when the pull was very hard.

I have had issues with my aerotank 2

found that the air way in the coils are blocking quite easily

cured for now whilst I await for my nautilus to arrive

wash base/aero part and coil separate in hot water

place coil back in base and blow through air inlet hole to clear airway in coil

it then runs ok, also have been lung hitting it with aero on biggest size

this seems to [touch wood] help keep the coil clear

hope that helps
