So finally made it back to Az. and after traveling through Nevada and northern Cal did not have even the slightest leaks. Up and down the Sierra moutains and even up to lake Tahoe not one drip out of four of them, various factory and rba coils. Then on the way home after 2 weeks of flawless performance one of the factory 1.2 ohmers flooded profusely out of air hole. Granted we were coming down mountains out of San Diego into the Imperial valley. So I am pretty satisfied with these STM tanks, although not bullet proof they are the best I have used so far. Just thought I would give a report, by the way I was running 50/50 diy juice.

Looks like they started packing the STM with the same RBA that they switched to with the Toptank. Don't like the smaller, higher hole since it forces you to refill much earlier, but I think they made the switch to avoid leaks when top filling. I used the original V2 RBA with the Toptank and it leaked profusely after top filling. Stopped when I switched to the chimney that came with the Toptank.

On another note, I found the replacement post screws for the RBA on Fasttech:
$0.80 Replacement Screws for Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - M2*3mm thread size at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I tried them out and they fit nicely. But I can't find replacement screws for the side to keep the chimney on. Someone (@LeoBak maybe?) posted that the threading/size of the side screw is M1.4 x 0.3 pitch x 2mm, but Fasttech doesn't carry that size. I've gone to two hardware stores - nothing. Anybody got any other ideas?

BTW just went to the store. 80f in the house, 120f (almost 50c) on the car display, hotter than that inside until the a/c cools it down. No leaks.
Same to report here. Although they seem to leak like all the other tanks when taken up and down mountains. Yesterday we went to the top of our local Mt Lemmon, 7000 ft. and one of mine started to leak at the top. Oh well I guess its just the nature of the beast when your dealing with internal pressures and what not. Stay cool, waitin on the rain, maybe next week?

Anybody know where to get that oring that sits at the bottom on the outside of the subtank mini coil? Kind of a clear white milky ish color and very squissy (pliable)

They look like common mini drip tip o-rings cv. Nominally 1x8mm (id/od) is what I see lookin' at the KT RDA, OCC. Look around at LV and these (flats) may work...

510 Drip Tip Replacement O Rings 10 Pack | Lightning Vapes

Also Desert Vapes always had quite an assortment…

DesertVapes - Search Results for "o-ring"

They do get stretched with age and tend to fall off. When they do the vape goes in the dumper fast as one tends to forget about the little part.

I often find them doing runaway cartwheels around the house. Keep a lookout! :D

Good luck. :)

Thanks but............I can't order "just" o-rings from fasttech. I know, free shipping and all, but it just wouldn't seem right. That means I have to find something (or several somethings) I want, need, gotta have and/or can't live without.

I only "thought" I was done shopping for a while. ;)

Another thing to check, the positive post sometimes becomes loose, if so, stick a small screwdriver through the air holes at the bottom of the RBA, carefully tighten. :thumb:
I am confused about where you are saying to tighten up? Air hole at the bottom of the rba? I do not see an air whole at the bottom of the rba.
