.7 ohm@USMCotaku, thanks for the pics.You aren't folding the positive over the grommet obviously, as I have been trying to do. That would make it easier. Now, I think I get it. What does that build meter with the 26g wire?

Yeah, I kept an eye on that. Difficult to tell if there are hot legs or not.
Wow, that subox with the black Subtank looks sexy as hell.
I swear at least once a week something gets released that makes me say "Man, I should have just waited.."
I suspect that's essentially just a Kbox with a screen and VV/VW with small increments and maybe 10/20 more watts. Curious if it's an internal battery or replaceable, but seeing as it looks almost identical to the Kbox I'd say it's only a single battery. If it were dual battery and/or had temp control I would be all over it and would hawk my istick, but I'll probably stick with my Kbox for now as the wattage increments and lack of a charging port are really moot issues for me. Love that black and red style though, that combo looks like the sleekest vape setup I've ever seen.
But I should've held out on getting my 2nd Subtank until that black version came out, I have three different black mods (Kbox/IStick/Dimitri) and it would look fantastic on all three of them.

Thanks USMC, appreciate the help. I think all of the vids I watched, showed bending that positive over the grommet, and that what was making it more difficult for me to keep the coil where I wanted it when I removed the mandrel. Your clarification made it much easier.

Well my Sigelie dumped yesterday, so I may be waiting to see what that new Kanger s/u will be.
Yesterday I was vaping on it, then got nothing, then it started getting warm. I looked at the screen, and it said something about the atomizer. I started taking the atomizer off, and then took out the battery, by that time it was hot. I checked the carto on my ohm meter and it metered fine. Luckily I got it apart before the battery vented. Today I tried it, and the vape is very weak. The screen shows 9.5w, where I had it set, but the screen shows 0v, and 0 ohms. I put the carto/tank on other devices and it works fine. I tried other toppers on the Sig. and they do the same as the carto/tank.
Is it past warranty? If so you could pull it apart and look for a short in the wiring to the 510 connector. If you were local I'd check it for you
