KangerTech T3S glitches

Let me give some background of my equipment first.

My batteries are eGo 650 mah with the exception of two. The other two are eGo batteries with variable power - if that is the proper term. Full power LED is red. Three clicks and it has a green LED. Three more clicks and it is blue. I use it on red.

I usually use CE4 or CE5 clearomizers, but decided to try a KangerTech T3S for something different (and maybe better).

My problem started about 24 hours after using it. It just stopped working suddenly. I could hold the button and not even hear it firing. I was guessing the battery was getting low even though it hadn't flashed like it normally does, so I changed batteries. Nothing. I tried one of my other standard volt battery, but it wouldn't work either. I tried another and it worked for a second, but caused the fully charged battery to shut off. It wouldn't come back on for a few minutes then the charge returned.

I considered that maybe the contact in the battery had been pushed down since the KangerTech has a solid contact instead of the spring loaded contacts in my CE4/5s. They were all at the same level.

As I was typing this, I tried a couple of different batteries and they would work (fire the atty), then stop again. I am using my DIY juice - 60VG/40PG, but it works in my CE5 dual coil carto perfectly.

I really like the KangerTech, but if this is preview of coming attractions, I will stick to my CEs. I hope this is something I am just missing and has a simple fix.

I am new to this and don't understand the ohm/volt/mah thing at all, so take it easy on me if that is the problem.

You were close, but wrong pin.
You screwed on to tight once and that compressed the Kanger center pin. Needle nose pliers, good tweezers or whatever. Grab the center pin and wiggle it down about 1mm or less.
Snug to contact and Stop. Tight is always to tight on anything removable.

That seems to have done the trick. Guess what? It pulls all the way and lands on the desk. Guess how I found that out? I'm learning and thanks for the help.

I have a T3S and trying to tighten the air flow. I've tried turning the screw on the center post counter clock wise, and it helps a bit. Can I turn it 3 or 4 times without breaking anything? Or is there another way to reduce the air flow?

Why not stick a round toothpick in one of the air holes and break it off?

I have a couple of T3s clearos, and I find that just covering one of the holes with my finger tightens it up just a bit, if I feel I need to.

I don't find the draw airy like I used to, though. I think I just learned to love them.

I learned from another thread that a dab of clear nail polish over one of the air holes will fix the air flow problem.
