Ok so I think I may have bought a fake. After work I went into a B&M that I haven't used and picked up some new juice and a top tank mini. However the drip tip is loose, instractuons are poor for spelling, grammar and missed words but the QR code and its corresponding numbers are ok. Is it likely a fake? If so I plan on taking it back. Or have kangertech dropped their standards?

I bought two stainless steel clone subtank mini's off ebay for like $16 recently, and also two Kangertech white toptank kits from MFS who is an official partner. Threading was much much better on the clones. Not sure if it was a stainless steel vs painted thing or not. Have yet to come across a loss drip tip, do you mean it's like always loose?

If the code and number are correct, it's unlikely to be a fake. Instractuons from China often contain errors such as those you describe. I have the same tank as yours and the instracgtuons have a number of errors. I don't know what to tell you about the drip tip. The one on mine fits OK. However, the threads could be smoother.
