So it seems as though most people purchased their Kanthal on ebay...... Seems ebay doesnt have any kanthal up for sale. Or anywhere in the US atm where are you guys getting yours?

Damn gonna make me post in the classies looking for some.

Thanks for the info, I'm starting to look for some too.
Harder to find than I thought it would be.
Also looking for the Stainless Steel 400 mesh if you've got an outlet for that.
(Somebody's got 2 G-tank-US's coming hehe)

There is a seller on ebay for that as well ... but it would be nicer to find an online retail outlet rather than depend on auctions for supply, for a more steady and dependable residual supply.

Ok I just got a zen mini and looking to figure out the differance between the Stainless Steel Mesh 325x325, Stainless Steel Mesh 400x400 pros and cons ? also i need to buy some 32 kenthal and hanvent had much luck on ebay anyone have some input ?

There is quite a bit out there on the mesh and differences. Check out the katana and orion threads here in the apv discussion forum. Lots of great tips and help there. I also cannot find kanthal 32 awg on ebay at the moment. I am actually using nichrome for the first time and I haven't had any problems so far.

On the SS mesh, the difference in size is relative to juice thickness. 325 seems to work better for folks using thing juice (e.g. Higher vg) and the 400 is good for thinner (e.g. Higher pg). I get 400 t-316 SS mesh from: http://myworld.ebay.com/Maryhoffer

For kanthal a-1, I use either 32awg or 34awg depending on what resistance I'm after

BTW 32 awg is 0.20 mm.

Difference between kanthal a a1 and D is ohm rating. I dont remember the specifics but essentially with the different diameters and designations it is ohms per foot.

This vendor uses ebay as his online store. I've always just done the "buy now" and it's a realtime transaction like any other online store. I saw the earlier post, guess he was on vacation, but I've always seen him with "more than 10" available. Last time I ordered it was 3 days order-to-door.
