I just started using a ss316l fused Clapton coils and my kaos keeps telling me to recheck resistance because it keeps changing as it fires .I was wondering if there is anything I can do to solve the problem
I will give that a shot. Thinking about it I didn't heat and temper the coil before wicking the build, sad thing is my backup mvp4 fires it and doesn't shutdown.

That is actually pretty normal for stainless steel. It's why if you use it in temp mod you have to enter the resistance manually so that it's not constantly reading different resistances. You do that when it's cold, although it's been my experience that dry firing it the first time can reduce the resistance slightly... period. Not by much. Those numbers wouldn't be concerning to me however. In wattage mode you can just set and vape.
Man I was really looking forward to using the temperature control on the kaos mod guess I just need to get a roll of ss and make my own coils again. Thanks everyone for the help every thing has changed so much since I went to vaping 4yrs ago

Yeah that's true, been using a dual 18650 squonker for 2 days now, can't lie it's great having the options though since i don't really need to complicate myself with 0hms law and such (mostly use same kind of build in every rebuildable i own though)

I wouldn't recommend manually inputting the resistance (on mods that for some incomprehensible reason make that possible) but rather lock in the cold-read resistance, and even then only on mods that require it to function properly. With DNA mods it's recommended to leave the resistance unlocked in order to have the most accurate tc, and that's the way I run my Wismec/Eleaf/Joyetech mods as well. Unsure exactly how the OPs mod works best as I have no personal experience of it.

Yes don't input ohm manually. Not a good idea. Make sure the initial reading is done while the coil is somewhere near room temp (70F) and you can then lock that in.
