lmao. That's awful but my son would get a kick out of it probably. No way could I make myself drink outta that every day though [emoji38]
All they have are the novelty mugs like that. I'm not a fan. I like my mugs to match my dishes & just be plain old mugs. I can't tell you how many mugs I threw out the last time I moved. Our cabinets are loaded with odd mugs that my Mom's buddies give her. I had to tell the family that we do not have a use for mugs or throws, told them to just give us Visa gift cards that we can use anywhere for anything. Last Christmas one niece gave us another throw. The third one. Please. We were quilters. And a bit snobby about it. Ok, a lot snobby.

lmao! Too funny. I don't really care if my mugs match my dishes, cuz normally those that do aren't big enough. But since I don't have a coffee pot now, just the keurig, these lil coffee thimbles that came with the corelle they got are definitely big enough. That lil keurig cup thingy don't make the coffee strong enough unless I use the medium cup size button.

Note to self..... Make sure one is at the BOTTOM of the basement stairs before wheeling to discipline the Kitteh for picking on HRM  My mod never hit the floor (although the rest of me did  )
Yeah, if you are going to whirl around, bottom step is best. Hope you are OK.

When I was little (4? 5?) I loved slides. Went to the park one day and they had the biggest slide I'd ever seen. Got to the top of the ladder, and for some reason that I no longer remember I turned around. Promptly fell to the ground. Apparently when I face planted I broke my nose, though no one knew it at the time. At least that is the only time anything ever happened that seems to explain the apparent break.

Man, it's been a crazy day around here today... every time I sit down to catch up and post, I get pulled away again!

Oh my...I have the same demonic kitty!!! Tho she did get a payback ( unintentionally) the other day while I was at the kitchen sink and turned fast, and stepped on her leg. She was limping for a day or two...but has that stopped her? Hell no:D

Hahahaha! Yeah, that happens quite a bit when I'm in the kitchen trying to fix their food. I finally had to stop wearing hard sole shoes in the house so that I don't hurt the kittehs...

Just wish y'all could catch some breaks. Just not the bone kind!!
You actually reminded me about the appt Fri to find out the results of it. I gotta make sure that doesn't interfere with the puppy's vet appt. Not sure what time that is. Just made a note to ask my son. They gave me the mask they used on me. It covered just the nose. It was odd, but I might could get used to using it at least part of the night. There was definitely a time I wanted to snatch it off, and it was only on about 3 hrs. lol Oh well. Honestly the main reason I even did the sleep study was to have more to add to my disability claim. But depending on what they say, I may need to use the thing. Could be worse for sure.

Hopefully the appointments don't overlap! Sleep apnea can be pretty serious. It can cause all kinds of heart problems and such. I know that the masks take some getting used to, though... there are still times that she'll snatch hers off in the middle of the night!

Oh yuck, Wed sounds horrible. I really hope the pain meds will be in her system then and work well for her. I was talking on the phone with Iffy the other night, and your always in both of our thoughts and hearts. He said he couldn't imagine trying to do what you're doing and working too. I can't either. Some of the stuff I did years ago, can't really imagine doin it. I know ya just do what ya gotta do, but you and Pat, man y'all just amaze me. But I did reach a point going through all the crap I went through that I was sort of on auto pilot. I kinda disappeared. We go through a whole lot more than we'd ever think we possibly could when we have to, but sometimes we do kinda break. I worry about that for you.

Yeah, Wednesday is gonna be a long day, for sure. But, hopefully the new pain meds will kick in before then. Supposedly, they'll definitely be working by Friday... I guess we'll see. As for working while caretaking... not much choice; I got bills to pay! Pat though... man, that man is stronger than 10 of me on steroids! And Iffy's heart is made out of pure gold... I love that man, and I don't mind saying so! I keep him, you, Pat, LB, everyone here, and a whole bunch of others in my heart and prayers every single day and night. Don't worry too much about me, though... y'all keep me sane, and I can handle it. If not, I know where to turn if I need a shoulder to lean on.

that's just awful. Glad you didn't pull punches on the complaint. also glad you take the time to fill out kudos cards for the good ones. I've only seen those in one place, and the last time I was there, I didn't deal with a nurse. But I've always tried to let supervisors know when someone does a good job. My son has gotten quite a few of those lately where he works. Makes him feel really good.

Yep. I'll call 'em out on their B.S. in a heartbeat, and I definitely won't take any crap off of anyone... but I'll give credit when/where credit is due. If a nurse treats her with kindness and compassion, I will absolutely do anything in my power to let it be known that they are exceptional at their jobs. :)

I know, and this breaks my heart. I can't even imagine what it does to you. No need to even comment on this, cuz I know it's so hard. Just know you're always in my heart, thoughts and prayers!

I won't lie... it's hard. Hard isn't even close to being an adequate descriptor... It absolutely crushes me to watch her suffer, especially when I'm almost positive that I know how this is going to end. That her suffering is cruel, and that she doesn't deserve it. But then to see her strength in the midst of it... that is something special that I am honored to witness. I am truly blessed to have her in my life.

but you don't feed em with yur feet :D

LOL!! Yeah, but them feet get me to where I need to go to feed them!! :p

No worse for the wear, this little guy hung out a few minutes to get his bearings before flying away.

with being sick and then on puppy duty so much, I've been very neglectful and haven't tried one that I won. I really need to get on that. But got the sleep clinic follow up switched to today at 1, so may do it later today if I remember

Yay! So ya see the doc today, then puppy appt. on Friday... glad ya got that sorted out. :)
As for testing gear... I can't help myself. Any time I get new gear I have to play with it right away... it's the kid in me! :p
Jup! I'm glad too. Plus now I don't have to wait as long for the results. Hopefully between me, my son and the vet, one of us will remember to do the DNA testing on Ozzy. It's been on my mind so much I expect that's one thing I'll remember. Can't wait to find out what he's made of besides bunny rabbit and pop tart! :D
