SWEEET! Funny how the creams and stuff, come in SUCH retro looking packaging. Definitely feels like a step WAY back in time. I'm sure my Great Grandpa is up there, lookin down on me and thinking.. DaF?!?! What is WRONG wif that boy!? 200 years of progress, and THIS? Next thing, be putting a BONE in his nose..

Sorry Gramps, I'm not doing Emo till I'm 60...

LMAO! Yep... but you gotta admit. You can't get anywhere near as close with an electric... or even these new-fangled cartridge razors with a dozen blades in 'em. Them things tear my face up somethin' awful...

Yep, kinda get the same sound in the razor with the DE... not quite as intense, but it's there. That Trumper's shave cream is AWESOME! Soak the brush, put a little cream in the bowl and float it in the hot sink water, then whip it up... it's a subtle sandalwood scent. Then follow it up with Clubman aftershave or a good Bay Rum... definitely feel like a new man when you step away from the sink!

I read a LOT, watched vids, before even deciding on equipment. LOT of great reading at SRP, and one of the members here saw me mention it, and PM'd me a LOT of great advice. The razors, they're gorgeous. Hurts my eyes. Went a lil nuts, two Dovo straights, 3 silvertip badger brushes, a couple English Bridle strops, Japanese stones.. Fun stuff really. Imagine that, a vape fanatic getting caught up in a hobby, right?

Just kiddin' hun... It took me a couple days before I got to my Target mod when it came in too... Sometimes life just happens...

It's just coils and a new battery charger so I figure it can be unpacked this weekend. Now if it was a new shiny? It would have been opened and at least looked at within the first 15 minutes of me being home!

You could fake emo like my 20 year old does...she has a little ring that fits at the bottom of her nose so that it looks like it's pierced.

REAL happy with em!

Nice!! I really like that second razor. I was even thinking about just finding a blade I liked and then making my own scales for it. I'll sort it out one of these days and move to a straight... for now, the DE razor is keeping me pretty darn happy.

Unless pork chop is now a red meat, I believe that's moo cow :)
Just in case :)

New shiny or new flavor concentrates... I never could resist opening those up and at least sniffin' them!

My screen is messed up too then...looks like a pork chop to me too!

Lol... at least it wasn't just me then...

My grandad used to use Bay Rum-loved it. Every now and again I still swear I can smell it.

Oh yeah...flavors are a must as well. Usually my kids bug the crap out of me to smell the flavors as soon as I walk in the door because they know who I order flavors from. When I got my Flavorah in and my youngest smelled it she said "Can we drink these?" I told her "kinda" and then proceeded to go in the kitchen and make smoothies with the sweet coconut lol!

Man, I have not touched my face with a real blade in 30 years. Went electric, and never looked back. That wicked looking straight razor was giving me quite a bit of trepidation..

At first I was afraid,I was petrified. Kept thinking I would never live without electra-glide...

NOT a nick, scratch, cut or burn. I CAN DO EEEEET!!! I'm feelin a lil smug, bout my silky mug.. First half dozen strokes.. whoa... and then.. just kicked in. My Cro-Magnun man just took over, and voila..

Hmm, I know I want to order a second tf-r1 head, trying to figger out if I should scarf up a full second tfv4 mini; I really like how it's working, and with the FT sale a full kit is only $21 :)
I want a mini since LLB:wub: sent me a full size but I may just suck it up and buy one stateside since anything ordered from FT right now will take a month and a half to get here.

Yep, the right ones are pretty awesome smelling. I have "Captain's Choice Bay Rum" right now and it is just a touch too 'clovey' for me. I still use it, but I'm gonna have to continue my search for the Right One.

Yummm!! I've added Bavarian Cream and Vanilla Custard to coffee... and TFA's Juice Peach to sweet tea... haven't tried making smoothies yet. I may have to play around with that a bit!

OK.. what is so great about the tfv4 tank?
Excellent flavor and vapor, nice top fill. As a coil newbie, and someone who prefers hanging out in the 1 ohm zone at lower power, the kit comes with a nice clapton rebuildable deck with a 0.8 ohm installed, and there's an add-on tf-r1 RBA available that I find really nice to use. The base kit also comes with two other heads, a dual clapton and a sextuple coil.
