No frost here so far!A bit of a cold snap here as well. We were at 28 overnight and now they say with this cold weather the strawberries are in danger. It had been so warm recently that the strawberry plants had started to bloom.

I'm awake, I'm here..I even checked the local obituaries to make sure I didn't see my name.
Well my day turned pretty quickly. My daughter called me last night on my way home from work asking if I could take Noah to the dr. I said I would providing she get me an appt within my work schedule. So she calls me a few minutes ago, she talked to the nurse who said that he needed to come in. They give her an appt...at 4:15. I tell her that I have to work today, no ifs, ands or buts about it. So she then proceeds to try and make ME feel guilty that I won't blow off my job to take him to the dr. Insert many bad words here.

She can't get off work.
Go figure..I'm supposed to blow off my job but she can't. And what really ...... me off was her saying well I guess he'll just have to suffer. I hope you're not letting her make you feel guilty.She can't get off work.
Yes and no. While I really feel bad that he's sick, I do know that he's had this for quite a few days and she's just now addressing it. And I really hate that I can't take him in.

It's her way of trying to remove guilt from herself and transferring it to me. It's not going to work though.
She could take him to urgent care here instead of the pediatrician he normally sees.- Status
