I bought the above from a vendor on ebay. The title of this post was the same as the ebay posting. So far I have only installed the pre-wrapped coil/silica wick that came with it. I watched a few videos on making coils and attempted to tighten the wraps that were already done and trimmed the silica. It reads 2.2 ohm on both my vamos and works really well. So far I like the rba better than the disposable attys. I am planning on trying cotton as a wick with some 28ga kanthol that I recently purchased.

I'm fairly sure this rba is a clone or a relica although it seems really well built. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with it and what you thought about it. Also any tips/advice on wicks/wire or just coil building its self would be welcomed. Additionally I would like to know when the wick should be changed and if the wire and wick should always be changed at the same time.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums, I have a kayfun clone from tobeco and they are great. Many other real like the hcigar version too.

If you purchased 28 guage I would recommend 8 wraps around a 1/16 drill bit and you should be around 1.6 ohms.

I use regular cotton from cvs boiled and then dry before using. Prime the cotton when you fill the tank.

The vamo you just need to stay above 1.2 ohms for it to fire.

Once you start building coils you will be amazed by the flavor and vape.

Last thing make sure you have an ohm tester or volt meter to check your builds.

YouTube has plenty of great guides for building them.
