I just recently received a svoemesto kayfun 3.1 and Semovar from cloud9. I am having trouble with the air hole leaking liquid. I have read in this forum and others about the cleaning of the fill valve by flushing it with water. I have also tried holding the tank upside down and letting the liquid drain from the drip tip. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Verify that the inner "o" ring in the top is IN the top and forming a good seal around the inner "chimney." Someone else was setting the "o" ring on first before screwing the top part on. You need to have a good seal there.
I understand the "o" ring needs to be in the "chimney" of the tank. When I unscrew the "chimney" I have noticed that the inner post unscrews with it. So I am assuming that means I have a proper seal from the "o" ring.
Where is the air control screw set? Liquid wouldn't be coming out the air hole if there was a problem with the fill valve. Are you filling from the top or from the fill valve?
I figured out the problem. You have to keep the fill valve clean and closed, you have to invert the take when filling from the fill valve, and the "o" must be fitted inside the "chimney". This keeps the air pressure in the tank level, so it doesn't leak from the bottom.

after filling my kayfuns up i usually put my fingers on the airhole and the screw to tighten them and blow inside the drip tip to make sure the valve is closed, another reason for leaking could be a bad wick. u have to lift it up a bit above the tube the air comes out. if the wick touches the hole liquid will run down and flood the collectors tank which will start to leak after a while.
