I've got a question about the 510 on my hcigar Kayfun 3.1. The center pin extends out 1-1.5mm past the end of the 510. I know why, but..... I don't have a lathe to fix it:mad:. Anyway, this is preventing it from sitting flush on most of my VV/VW devices, and I would also have to make a special center pin for all but 1 of my Mech MOD's. So, my questions... Is this normal for a hcigar 3.1? If so, does anyone know if an authentic is the same way and if not, could I solve this by buying the drip collector from Svoemesto to use on the hcigar.... compatible?

My authentic sits flush on my mods, I have had to file down a Hcigar center pin to make it sit flush if you have enough meat on the screw you can file it down and also file in a deeper slot for your screwdriver. I didn't need to deepen the slot on mine it only required a little bet to be filed off. not sure on your device but my Hcigar threads are compatible with my Authentic 3.1

Thank you epicdoom. I've though about filling the pin down, but when I look at how much I'd need to remove, I'd have less than 1mm of material left on the head of the post :( I'll probably just deal with it until Svoemesto get the collector back in stock. I love that Kayfun's, would love to show support and get an authentic 3.1, but $177+ is kinda out of the vape budget for now. On that note, I really want ask how is the original vapes compared to the clone?, but as it's out of reach.... I kinda fear it'll make we want it more

In all honesty the clone vapes just as good as the Auth. IMO
I actually only find fit and finish be to different between the two. The best clone I have found of the Authentic is made by Ehpro IMO there finish is even and there threads are smooth and consistent. there plastic tank sections are thick and thread onto the meta portions like butter. they also al sit flush on my mods.

My kayfun did not sit flush on my provari... here's how I fixed it. I removed the center pin insulator and thinned down the larger round section with a fingernail file. Worked like a charm...

I thought about doing this, but it seems like only a few of my tanks and one kayfun clone sits flush on my Provari. So I would have to file down every other clone. I have read somewhere that the pin on the provari could be a little to high and Provape themselves recommend slightly pounding it down. I'm afraid to do that with something I spent $180 on :(
