In one word cotton
For ease of use and convienance I use peaches and cream yarn from walmart
I get great taste and as long as the juice is not really dark I change wicks about every three days
The trand is 4 strands thick I remove one strand in a coil built on a 1/6 in drill bit and it works great

Or you can use cotton balls and roll the cotton up to make a wick

if you do use cotton watch plenty of you tube videos. I love my kayfun!! Leave the cotton light and fluffy when you wick it. Don't roll it too tight. Keep the ends fluffy that go down to the well for wicking too. Just make sure they don't block the juice channels. Seems to work best for me. And flavor??? Let's just say that since my Kayfun I don't use anything else unless I'm dripping. It's awesome! Congrats on the purchase. No more kanger coils, no more any other coils on other tanks.
