Hi friends I just had to share this with you all. This week I purchased a kayfun, and a taifun GT. Both have exceptional flavor but the taifun is outrageous! The flavor that comes from the taifun is amazing!! IMHO even better than the kayfun!! I was wondering which out of the two YOU perfer and why. I know taifun can be very temperamental and is very build dependant but once she's right, she is out of this world with flavor! She can leak if not wicked correctly but I finally have figured out a solution to that issue. I use 100% organic cotton and when I wick her I make the wick long enough to double in the slots then recap and trim it down. It has solved the issue of leaking. Don't get me wrong, the kayfun produces a good flavor, but I can honestly say the taifun produces the best flavor I've ever had! What do you think? Out of those two which do you perfer and why? All opinions welcome

I love them both, but I tend to use my kayfuns more, but that has more to do with their size, I think. The GT is enormous, but looks pretty good on larger mechanical mods like the Panzer or my Flip.

Flavor-wise, the Taifun GT wins, hands down, and I would go so far as to say it has the best flavor of any rebuildable tank I've tried, only my Expromizer running a close 2nd.

I build large coils for the Taifun GT at 2.2mm (a piece of coat hanger) and wick with cotton. Larger coil = Larger wick, which makes it less tempermental in terms of flooding. For fun, I tried a mesh build in the Taifun GT the other night with only limited success. For my first try with mesh in the GT, I was pleased, but quickly went back to cotton. I'll try a mesh build again soon.

I haven't tried mesh but that makes since with the larger coil, I've only been using micro coils on her this is why I've been doubling her wick. IL give the larger coil a try, thanks. I agree the taifun taste is off the hook amazing! Best I've ever had! I've noticed kayfun is great but slightly muted compared to the taifun whice is a bold crazy good taste! I admit the taifun is very temperamental and extremely build dependant but wow when she's right, omg! Amazing! Also vapor is thicker and dense. Just amazing! !

How about both at the same time? TGT with a Kayfun tank.

I've been using KFLs exclusively for a few months and got a smoking deal on an authentic taifun a few days ago. About to try it with a cotton wick; but, so far I've only used steel mesh with a silica flavor wick on top and OMG THE FLAVOR IS OUTRAGIOUS!!! I don't see how the kfl has been so popular and the taifun virtually unheard of in comparison. Side by side the kfl does produce a significantly more vape, but the flavor from the taifun is simply amazing. I removed the aurflow adjustment tube altogether leaving only the ribber grommet that you press fit the tube in. At first I removed both but it was way to airy so I put just the composite plastic/rubber, back in and it's perfect for me like that. I also have it wrapped at 1.4ohm/2mm with 34g and run it at 4.1 V. This thing is a total beast flavor wise!
