Hello there from central FL!

I now have 8 Kayfuns and have noticed that some more than others suffer from this, particularly if I fill them completely up. It seems to have to do with e-juice not being drawn into the chamber to wet the wicks when there is not enough airspace to expand and allow it to flow easily. In those cases I don't see the 'after bubbles.' I have to take a few hard pulls to bring it back into order.

Because I have 6 EHPRO clones and this happens on 2 of them more than any other, regardless of the build, wicking, coild distance from the aurhole, or thickness of e-juice, my guess is that it's a variance where the juice channels aren't deep enough. Just a guess though.

I tend to not fill those tanks all the way and it seems to help greatly.

Why are you running it at 30 watts? Kayfun's usually taste best under 11 in my opinion (I usually run 9-10 watts).

...just to keep it in perspective, that's like running a mech mod at 0.45 ohms... at 3.7 volts = 30 watts of power.

Just because you have 30 watts doesn't mean you have to use it; and I don't even know if your DNA 30 can pump the voltage up to 8.1v since that's what's needed to use 30 watts with a 2.2 ohm coil.
