Same dimensions, different materials.

My red silicone rings still expand with one tank of Ahlusion's Cherry Cola (the only damaging juice I've used). I can't speak for the black fluorocarbon rings because I still have a LOT of rings left from that pack of 100. At least you can buy a minimum of 17 from the o-ring store.

And let us know the results?

I will share results when I need to replace an O-ring. Since I started bottom filling, so much less wear and tear on that "ring" -- hard to know when it will go kaput.
There was another O-ring material mentioned and I believe it could handle about anything thrown at it. Of course, I can't remember the name. Want to say it was 4 or so capped letters like "HFPE" (that was an example). Memory is the first thing to go.....lol

Does anyone here know where to get replacement screws for these clones? I would like to find a set that are flat on the bottom of the head. The ones that came on here are tapered on the bottom and I have a hell of a time trying to get the coil to stay on them because when I tighten the coil down it pushes the wire off

I'd check a hobby shop. Lots of R/C equipment is metric and very small metric at that. I don't know the exact size -- sorry about that. Another thing you might try if you can't find the screws that is sort of a pain is to carefully try to file the underside of the screws flat. Actually, make that a big pain rather that sort of....

Okay, so I have 3.5 Kayfun clones, and I have had a big problem with leaking.

I took my original orings and quick dipped them in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and dried them quick, rubbed them down in extra virgin coconut oil and reassembled.

NO LEAKS!

Now, I do not know if the steps I took gave me the results I got, but I felt is worth telling the community. EV Coconut is a super food and is very expensive, but sense my wife demands it on hand for her Soy / Gluten free life style and it being naturally antimicrobial, I felt it worth mentioning.

Why?

I was getting very frustrated with the clones and the machine oils that the entire setup was bathed in. I was on the verge of feeling that my investment in the finicky Kayfun clone line was a waste of time and money, but now I am a believer!

Have you found the right sized screws I'm having this problem and the way it is now dual coil is not a possibility using 30g heck single coils is a HUGE pain

I just got my first 2 kayfun lite + clones from fasttech today and I have watched tons of videos on building them so I went ahead and built both of them and when intake a hit they are leaking like crazy out of the air hole on the bottom. I even tried different style of coils with more and less cotton and nothing seems to work. Anyone have any tips for me to try out? I feel like an idiot not being to figure this out.
I had the same problem and almost gave up on my russian91. I lost 40mls of juice thru my airhole figuring this out....

100% guaranteed fix for this problem with kayfun and Russian91 clones is to put enough cotton to almost block the vertical juice channels coming up to the deck...I know they tell you not to, BUT that's with real Kayfuns!! Most clones are WAY over drilled and almost cut the bottom deck in half with these vertical channels due to poor machining and QC standards in China, compared to the original Kayfuns that have a small cut out and plenty of deck for the wick. Google kayfun deck, then look at yours...the difference was huge in mine. I make my cotton wick look like an "S" from the side and almost covering the bottom deck and channel. I can put mine in my pocket now with no worries and no dry hits either. This has worked for months now, not just one build either.
:toast:
Hope this helps

Somewhere
I have a HCigar Kayfun v3.1 ES Brushed Stainless that I started filling using the fill hole
It is now leaking from that location, very little, but leaking
I will have to drain it and try to fix it from the inside.

This is why I only top fill my Polished SS Kayfun 3.1. Which does not leak at all.

I have read and heard from many that the Kayfun Lite's have leaking issues.

The screw in the fill hole should have a small o-ring on it. That should keep it from leaking, as long as it's snug. My KFL is from EHPro and has never leaked from the fill hole. However they should be very similar.

I run a EHPro version and i do have the same problem but with alittle vape time it clears up thinking its the vacuum that is needed for the kayfun to wick is also needed for that. I have done both a top fill and fill hole fill and I dont have liquid pouring out of it or anything just alittle liquid when i use the fill hole. alittle vape time and a q tip should be all you need
